The staff at the Woodville Road store is outstanding! I made an appointment, which was super easy, to have a service person test drive as I was hearing a weird noise. Jetsen, the Store Manager, after taking my car for a test drive explained the problem. I was 3 1/2 quarts low on oil! I was driving across the state on a Friday afternoon when i got a flat tire. The manager David got me in right away. He and the team were fast, efficient, and fair. Tire hole was in the side wall so they had to replace it entirely, but that's relatively expected with that type of damage. Entire process was only an hour from arrival to departure with a new tire. The AC in my car went out. My husband is pretty savvy on working on cars. He checked everything he knew. We called Midas to see if they could do a diagnostic test on. Brian was the mechanic that answered. Sure, bring it in, we'll have a look at it he told my husband. They checked everything as in the same things my husband had checked. The compressor was out, I needed a whole new AC unit. I can't do heat, there was no way I was going to be able to go through the summer without the AC, let alone my 84 year mother who I take to appointments. I called Brian back, I didn't have an appointment, he said to bring the car in, he'd work on it between his other cars he was working on. And so, to quit yakking, my AC is fixed! Works better then it did before, I'm a happy camper! Thank you Brian for your work, your smiles, your sunny disposition! And give thanks to any of the other workers who might had worked on my car! I appreciate each & everyone of the worlds essential workers! I surely will be recommending Midas Muffler to anyone who is in need of car repairs! We schedule an appointment with Midas on line for today 9/4/2020 for all new tires and an alignment. The quote that we received and was confirmed via email was for $417.32. We got there at our appointment time five minutes early just for them to say that do not have the tires requested!! There was a deal of buy three tires and get one free. Instead of giving us a comparison tire for the same price we were quoted they gave a price on the tires they had for $145 each!!!! I was pissed off and took my car to Discount Tire in Perrysburg on route 20. Not only did Discount Tire give us the same price as Midas's quote, but they gave it to us on a better tire that was 55,000 miles and better for snow also, and they worked with Tuffy to get us a discount on an alignment after they placed the tires on!!! What a scam Midas is pulling, and to schedule someone without having the tires is ridiculous. Midas will never get my families business again. My daughter has an appointment scheduled for Midas for all new tires and she will be canceling now and going to Discount Tire. Midas just lost almost $1,000 in sales in one week. Should have given me what was quoted!! read more

We have 3 vehicles for my husband and I, so it is not a problem to drop one off at the dealers for a repair. We dropped my husband's car off for a repair and he drove our extra vehicle to work on a Monday. As he was leaving work around 5ish, he pulled out of the parking lot and to the first light..NO BRAKES! He was able to use the emergency brake to drive to the nearest place which happened to be Midas on Woodville road in Northwood. Thank goodness they were still open. They said they could fix the brakes, looked like the brake line rusted through. They even drove my husband all the way home to Woodville. Have not picked up our truck yet or know the cost to fix. I wish I could gives LESS than one star. In early January my husband and I were stranded in Toledo, Oh. with -50 temps during the "polar vortex". Called this Midas because our diesel fuel had gelled up even with additives due to the crazy low temperatures. Talked to a supervisor at this Midas who said he could "get his hands on" the specific part that we needed but that they were getting ready to close. Said no problem we would have it towed the next morning. Took 2 hours to fix. Asked manager why it was taking so long. He stated that they didnt have the part and needed to go get one from another shop. Mind you we are paying $95 an hour for labor. We ended up paying around $400 for parts and sercice including a $169 charge for the filter itself. Drove approximately 100 miles and broke down again. This time the fuel pump was whining so we replaced that for $300. Still ran crappy so rechecked the fuel filter. Found out that Midas had installed a $26 generic fuel filter without a water separater on it. This is CRUCIAL for the year and type of diesel that we have. My husband even asked the manager when we were having it fixed if they used this specific kind of filter and the manager said yes. COMPLETELY LIED TO OUR FACES WITH NO SHAME. The part they used was a Purolator F55... (something). Looked it up online and it was between $18-27. Called midas back to find out why they did this and how they were going to fix it. The same manager answered the phone (distinctive voice). My husband told him what happened very respectfully. The manager was VERY rude and defensive and asked my husband if he was calling him a liar and if we were accusing them of selling a $20 filter for $169. My husband said no that we just want to know why the wrong filter was used and what they were going to do about it. The manager said he would "research" the situation and call us back. That was two weeks ago. HORRIBLE! AVOID ALL COSTS ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE FROM OUT OF TOWN OR ARE A WOMAN. WILL CHEAT YOU ANY WAY THEY THINK THEY CAN GET AWAY WITH. PLEASE DRIVERS think TWICE about going with this company. You WILL be sorry. read more

These guys have been seeing a lot of me lately, and they'll be seeing me again tomorrow. My valve stems have begun to break on me. 10 year old car, it happens. They've given me the best prices for everything. I'm going to start getting my oil changed there too, since WalMart stripped my oil pan threads and refuse to remedy the situation.
