I buy auto parts there a lot because it's cheaper and the advice is golden ! My kids car needed two ignition coils and eight plugs . To have it done anywhere was twice what I paid for parts and doing it myself. He told me he could do it cheaper but changing one ignition coil instead of all eight , would leave me changing the rest soon after . Said one good one makes the rest go bad . He also told me those expensive plugs I wanTed to get , go bad a lot quicker and sold me good ones that weren't the cheapest either but he had good experience with them . I did that job myself and his coils were two thirds the price of one of those auto parts stores that are opened till late even on Saturday, with competitive prices . in my experience, They're Good honest guys .

They also instead of clearing my warning lights on my dash just put black electrical over it only to hide the fact that not only not fix anything they couldn't get the warning lights off. These guys are crooks scam artists. If you wanna pay a bunch of money to not get your vehicle repaired properly take it to Bertrand Auto. I'm disgusted!

I asked about the rotors because I said there has been no issue with the brakes.Well, we just replaced the rotors.When we replaced the brake shoes. I took the car to another mechanic who took the tire off and told me my rotors , look like brand new and there was no reason whatsoever to replace those this really upset me because I had been a long time customer and I felt like I was being taken advantage of. I did agree to pay them for diagnosis. Next day the " front guy" of this country. Called and said it's a sensor fault ,not the glow plugs. After replacing the sensor he called and told me to take my truck to the dealer to have it fixed. When I picked up my truck the engine was running rough and loud. Check engine still on, oil pressure gage not working, Def sensor not working , cooling fan running at high speed at 40 degrees temp. The engine was so lout you couldn't talk and hear each other next to the car. They were telling me is normal. I went to auto zone for a free diagnosing and other codes popped out. Like a Christmas tree. Went back to tell Gery, the front man. He basically told me to Go F.. my self. After I drove away, 2 miles later my engine end up in a " limp mode" .
