So I ordered the taillight assembly on ebay ($300) and Don's Auto repair installed it for $67. The entire repair was $367.00. The staff was friendly as well. I plan to recommend Don's to others.

We had our Kia Sedona Van towed there since it was acting up - all "dummy Lights" (Check engine,…read moreetc.) were on. They determined that it was the Alternator & battery. After we drove away, the same thing happened a few days later. They checked things out again, made some adjustments and released the van to us. Again, the same thing happened again, so we had it towed to the Kia Dealer. The Dealer determined that the "After Market" Alternator was the problem and replaced it with a "Kia" Alternator, and things are fine now. This was an unusual problem, and they were very professional in how they handled everything. They agreed to reimburse us for the new alternator. Despite this problem, I would still do business with them and encourage others to use their services.

Brian welcomed me and my children and treated us as if we were old friends, carrying their school bags, offering us drinks and making sure we were comfortable. My car hadn't been serviced in years and needed a lot done - they fixed everything in less than 3 hours (including getting parts delivered) and the price was way cheaper than anywhere else I've gone in the past. This was the single best experience I've ever had at a mechanics (which says a lot given that my car had so much wrong with it) and I will definitely only go to Tuffys from now on. I brought the vehicle back, and they handed me a long list of supposed problems, which I agreed to have fixed. However, less than 300 miles later, the engine seized. I had the vehicle towed back to the dealership late Friday afternoon, and after nearly a week of silence, I was told it was all an "unfortunate coincidence" and not their responsibility. Their solution? A new engine replacement for around $10,000. I asked for an explanation and was told they had cut open the oil filter and found it full of metal shavings. They offered to investigate further--but only at my expense. Frustrated, I turned to Jim's Tire and Auto on the recommendation of two trusted friends. That's when everything changed. Bret and Allen treated the situation with professionalism and integrity. They approached my Explorer as if they had been the ones to work on it from the start. They meticulously reviewed every detail--receipts, parts lists, error codes, on-board diagnostics, and the engine itself. Through their forensic approach, they uncovered the actual cause of the failure, which contradicted the dealership's claims. They not only explained their findings clearly, but also supported me in addressing the issue with the dealership. They even opened up their shop to allow the dealership's inspectors to review the vehicle firsthand. Bret and Allen exemplify what honest, expert automotive care should look like. I have been getting my oil changes done here for the past 2 years…read more Back in the spring, I had a problem with my 2014 Jeep Compass, not accepting gas. Took it to Truman, at Meineke. He figured out something ( I don't know technical terms!) to make it accept gas, and charged me a minimal price, since we didn't know if it would last. Well, in September, it happened again!! He did more intense evaluation, & tweaked it, but unfortunately this didn't last long, either. I took it back on October 11; he figured out what was hopefully the problem, and charged me $0 . Even if it happens again(I hope it doesn't!), I won't blame Truman, because they did such a great job along with their excellent customer service, they will still have me as a client for any other issues!! LOVE Truman & MEINEKE ON COLERAIN!

Update I am increasing my Meineke review from 1 star to 2…read morestars because they reached out to me and asked how they can make it right. They offered an oil change. I suggested the oil change (because they overfilled it), plus actually, you know, fixing the exhaust hole. They called me, unable to find the hole. I suggested they start the car and feel for exhaust. I hate that I, the non-mechanic, had to suggest that, but it worked and they found the hole. So they put a foil patch over it with a couple of clamps instead of replacing the pipe (See picture attached). So $800 gets a muffler, a bracket welded on, and a foil patch these days. It took three trips to Meineke plus one trip to another mechanic to fix the axle damage. Would I recommend them? No, no I would not. =============== My old muffler rusted through, so I went to Meineke to get it fixed. They did the work for a bit over $800 and sent us on our way. The car was still making a lot of noise, so we brought it back. They told us it was because the engine was low on oil and they topped it off and sent us away again. Now the oil is about an inch above the full line and it was still making all the noise. I took it to another mechanic and looked at it myself while it was on the lift. The picture of what I saw is attached. The muffler mount was rubbing directly against the rear axle. It wore through the metal clamp that held the boot in place. My mechanic bent it away from the axle and zip tied the boot back in place. That took care of 3/4 of the noise. The rest was because of a hole in the exhaust pipe about a 18" before the muffler. Next on my to-do list is to buy some replacement pipe and suction out some oil. This is basic stuff at a premium price and they couldn't even get it half right. I'm not impressed. I've attached a pic of the work, including the welding that looked like it was done by an amateur.

What he didn't know was I went to the walmart on bowen ave after calling them this morning and them telling me they had 5 tires in stock, well magically after I walked in they couldn't find any of them and sent me away telling me to order them on walmart.com . Considering my tires were firestone tires I went in on a humble and he went above and beyond! Thank you so much, you have a customer for life!

Today, I had my car towed to Tires Plus in Forest Park OH as I had a rear flat tire, with no spare…read more(a Tesla Model Y). I contacted them in advance, and the manager, John Dean, was incredibly helpful and assured me they could work on the car. Two other tire dealers told me they would not work on my car because (1) their lift would not work on a Tesla (?), and the other said tie OEM tires have foam inside, and cannot be worked on. I arrived via the tow truck, and decided to replace both rear tires with Bridgestone EV tires. They worked me into their busy schedule, and I was told they had a tech that was trained to work on Teslas. Everything went great, and I love my new tires!
