Brett and his team are the best!! Today i had a very minor issue and they took care of it quickly!! I have been going to this location for many years with about 4 or 5 different cars and never had a bad experience. Lucky to have a place I trust in the neighborhood. read more

My daughter ended up having to take her car up to this Midas, THREE weeks in a row because of the constant misdiagnosis. Each time the car was taken up there, the shop did NOT do a thorough check of the system specifically involved. This resulted in a waste of TIME, MONEY, and ultimately addressing issues that DIDN'T need to be addressed; INSTEAD of the real issue that needed to be addressed in the first place!! Not honest mechanics and do half @ss work to cause her to have to return (i.e leaving anti-freeze out of the radiator after completing my last job). There's an unhinged mechanic named Jason, who thinks it's appropriate to use profanity towards other employees. vendors, and customers. NOT OK!! ** DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THIS PLACE IF TOU DON'T WANT TO HAVE MECHANICAL HEADACHES YOU DIDN'T HAVE BEFORE. IT'S A MONEY TRAP ** read more

Every time I have taken my car to this location, the staff is always friendly and helpful. Never had any issues getting an appointment and being seen. Brett and Jason are extremely helpful and resourceful. I will continue to take my car here for maintenance. Highly recommend. read more

Every time I've called and/or taken my vehicle to this location the staff has been so friendly, honest, and have explained everything to me about my vehicle. One particular incident they did everything they could to repair my vehicle and when they were not able to not only did they recommend I take it to the dealer they did not charge me for the work. I would highly recommend this Midas location. read more

nitially scheduled a brake fluid flush for my Kia Stinger at a local performance shop, where I was quoted $150 over the phone. However, when I arrived, they suddenly changed the price to $250 with no clear explanation. Frustrated, I called Midas on short notice, and they were able to take me in right away. Midas had all four Brembo calipers flushed, completed a full visual inspection of my car, and had me out the door within an hour. The best part? They didn't try to upsell me on anything--just gave me honest advice about potential issues without pressuring me. The service was professional, efficient, and fairly priced. I'll definitely be coming back for maintenance. Highly recommend this location! read more

Midas - Auto Repair Near Me - Inglewood, California

I made an online appointment for 8am and received a confirmation email for the date and time I requested. I showed up on time and they said they have no appointment for me and they are booked up for the day. Even though all the ports was open and mechanics where sitting around. Guess they don't need money. They didn't even care to ask what maintenance I need done or if they can help find me another location. Midas you got to do better! read more

Great service at Midas. I came in for an oil change and the team made sure my tire pressure was set, replaced the oil and filter, and got everything done quickly. Brett (manager) and Richie (mechanic) were both great, and the price was a great value. Highly recommend. read more

I called this location and asked if they had any oil change specials. He promptly hung up on me. I immediately called back and mentioned I was hung up on. This time he said no, but I can look on the internet for coupons. So much for keeping my business local. I don't let anyone speak to me in this manner. I'm only sorry I did not get this rude jerks name, or I would have mentioned it here. Too bad I didn't see your name tag, Mr important. Spend your money elsewhere. Not Midas, as they don't hire polite help. read more

My review is 1 so I can write... young women or in General anyone beware of this place and always get 2nd opinion if you feel it doesn't seem right . Unfortunately my niece came here and they almost ripped her off for $500 worth of work that DIDN'T NeED, I brought her to another place a friend referred me to and told her she didn't need anything done everything was good... she almost spent $500 on something she didn't need. the work Midas wanted done was Rotors and breaks smh... they are still great for another year. AND shame on you Midas. everyone is struggling too, don't try to rip people OFF read more

Been going for years. They would take care of my dad all the time before he passed. Brett is cool. His truck is cool too. You rock dude.

We arrived early and we were greeted by Martin, who gladly welcomed us into the waiting room and prepared us coffee. It wouldn't have surprised me if we had been served breakfast as he was so welcoming. Bret and Chris at the front desk met our needs by honoring an oil change coupon and gave us a more then competitive price on a set of new tires. The entire transaction was transparent and there wasn't an overly ambitious upsell approach which is always a turn off. They listened to our needs and made the appropriate sales suggestions to benefit us. Thanks to Jarem and other staff that serviced our car. We felt confident and safe as we drove out of the lot. The entire staff was personable and very friendly and we didn't have to wait a long time. I have a personal mechanic that tends to my car to save me money, however, Midas was quite competitive and I intend to return here again for other services. Thank you Midas Team!!!!!!!! read more

BEWARE of incorrect diagnosis! The latino guy at the front desk misdiagnosed my vehicle, he drove it around the block and said l had a bad transmission. He recommended Aamco because they don't work on transmissions. After Aamco l went to Infiniti Torrance. I had a bad transmission control module NOT a bad transmission! Beware of inaccurate diagnosis. I went to Midas in Inglewood on Manchester it worked out fine. While I was there Bret Gilebill tightened the smog holes and did not charge me, Brett said it pays to be honest because what goes around comes around. So I went back to have my breaks done, He said all of my breaks needed to be replaced and the Rotors Needed turning. He charged me $640 for the front brakes, and I couldn't afford for him to do the back breaks, I told him I would come back... In the meantime, I went for a second opinion and they said I still have brake pads on the back brakes and the rotors did not need turning I have pictures to prove it... I am disappointed in Brett and his staff for taking advantage of a female and lying to me to get more money out of me for something they did not do... The last time I got new brakes were in 2018. Than covid hit in 2019, did not do much driving at all So the brakes were still good. read more

I came here for a tune up and to have my power steering checked out. I was qouted $60 but told to come back in the morning. In the morning the price jumped to $120 just for a diagnostic. I was then told 250 for the tune up only after he tried to trick me into paying over $1000 for o2 sensors. Then when I come to pick up the car he tells me it was 350 and that I didn't hear him right or something because he didn't understand me sense I had my mask on while I was on the phone. He somehow "worked it out" and got the price back to the 250 that we originally agreed on. Funny thing is for all this money he never even checked the power steering which is part of the reason I came in. read more

Hello my earthly good folk, I went to Midas on Manchester in Inglewood this Saturday September 16th 2023. I love going to Midas for my car repairs, oil changes, tire rotations etc. The customer service is always awesome, you sit down have a good cup of coffee and wait. I get the chance to relax knowing that my service is always completed in a timely manner and done right. Brett Grabill and his team of technicians are awesome, and depending on what you need done the service time is very short and complete. Check them out I was satisfied! read more

Have tried with this place. Came in for an oil change. Said I needed an appointment. Couldn't get to it until 4. This was at 8:00a.m. There was literally nobody there. Nobody waiting. Brett and his team are doing a great job here. I found this location through Groupon, and bought a deal for 3 oil changes. I've been twice now and everyone has been friendly, fun, and helpful. They don't try pressuring you into additional or unnecessary repairs, just give you a written report of what was found and what's recommended. Bonus: they've got a keurig and a nice sized tv in the lobby while you wait. I've never been there longer than 35-40 minutes :) read more

Returned back to Midas because I had a nail in my tire and received immediate service although I was late for my appointment waiting on AAA. Again, Brett provided top tier excellent customer service and a fair price to patch my tire...so grateful that's all it was and even more so to receive trustworthy information from ethical mechanics and manager. The 2 mechanics were equally professional, detailed oriented and kind. Before I left, I asked for a last minute check on my "check engine light" and because they were closing, Brett and the mechanic quickly took a few more minutes in just getting the codes to give a possibility to what it could be. I was happy to have an idea of the issue. He welcomed me to come back anytime (less busy days Tue-Thu for faster service) and do a complete diagnostic at a cost and repair it if I so choose. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Brett Grabill and team! I'll continue to refer my family and friends to come here. read more

HIGHWAY ROBBERY !!! On 06/26/17 My 70 year old mother drove her 2002 Infiniti I35 to Midas asking them to check the vehicle as there's a ticking sound under the hood. Upon inspection they discovered the radiator was cracked and needed to be replaced. The gave my mother a written estimate for $1100.00 to replace the Radiator and Thermostat my mom's eyes nearly popped out of the sockets, he then re-wrote the quote without the Thermostat. As follows:Radiator $259.99, Cap $19.99 Labor $176.00 Upper Radiator Hose $49.59,Lower Radiator Hose $44.99, Labor $77.00 Midas Premium Cooling system Fluid Exchange Labor $39.02, Parts $90.97, Coolant Flush Kit $39.98, Sales Tax $44.45, Total $816.99 !!!!!!! Thank God my mother called me before authorizing any work to be done. This is your typical story of a repair shop trying to take advantage of an older female customer. I sent my mother to Mikes Performance Exhaust and Radiator Service on Florence they replaced the Radiator including hoses for $250.00 read more

I highly recommend this shop. Here's why: Yesterday evening, I began to hear a grinding sound when applying the brakes at lower speeds on my 2017 Fiat Abarth 124 Spider. Midas sucks! They over charge and seem to never get the problem fixed. I had suspension replaced front end and back end due to defects twice in 2yrs. They claimed to have upgraded my stock suspension setup for $700 with Monroe. Ok, for the defects they wanted to charge me labor to replace them for the 3rd time, claiming that it was past 90days. Right!! So they claim to have the MIDAS TOUCH with suspension that rattles squeaks and bounces way too much...Not to mention they have posters all over the shop displaying shocks and struts that are branded...Come to look at mine, NO BRAND NAME...Then they claim they have their own stock # for the shocks they advertise...That right there my friend is false advertising! Avoid Midas. They are money hungry upsellers who give the runaround. Its a huge chain designed to break your pockets. They dont really care so much about keeping the customer happy in trusting their work. Dont say I never told ya. I have first hand experience.. read more

My car had been squealing at me for about a week, so I wanted to get my brakes checked. I called and spoke to Paul. He was very nice over the phone, and told me that they weren't very busy, and could fit me in. When I got there, John helped me out, and he was so incredibly friendly and helpful. I wanted to get an oil change while I was at it, so he offered to visually check the brakes while they were doing the oil change. I opted to do the whole brake check though, since I was 99% sure I needed new brake pads, and the price of the check is subtracted from the total price of the brake change. I thought it was nice of him to offer the visual check. They offer coupons online for both oil changes and brake service, and I was able to use them with no hassle. In fact, as he was ringing me up, John asked if I had any coupons. He also showed me the brake pads, both old and new so I could see the difference, and showed me that I had a tear in the calipers. I chose not to replace the calipers this time, but will be back to do that later. They gave me a 15% off coupon to the sizzler next door so I could have lunch while waiting for my brakes to be changed, which was awesome. Overall, I'm very happy with my experience at midas. And John gets five stars as well. read more

Don't go there and waste your money . They are hustlers. I got my corolla and I wanted a check up on brakes as they were alittle bit shaky. I ended up resurfacing the routers and installing new brakes .. I start hearing and feeling weird noises from the new breaks after 1 week !!! I went back to midas and asked for a recheck, I had the guy drive my car in my presence to make him feel and hear the squishy sound from the breaks . He agreed that something is wrong . After waiting 2 hours !! They send me a different guy to tell me: ( what you feel and hear is your car's ABS !! You can go back to toyota dealer but they will tell you its the breaks because its not original its the after market .. you can bring another set of breaks and we will install them for you ) Seriously !!! It turns out that they use cheap aftermarket breaks and my ABS was totally fine . Never going back again read more
