I wanted to wait a month or two to really see how the AC was working prior to submitting a review. Honestly, I feel like I was taking advantage of because I am a woman. I took my vehicle in to have the AC recharged or the compressor replaced, which had been out for about a year. I ended up paying for more services than I felt like I needed. I considered I had been lucky to not have any major repairs to the 2016, that I purchased brand spanking new. So, I agreed. BUT really, it's like they went searching for things to repair. It only took them a day and half to complete all the work, I still question that and the parts they got in so quickly. Next time I will take their opinion, then get a second opinion just in case. At this point, I am in the beginning phase of looking for another vehicle. I just don't know how to feel about the services here. This Midas shop ripped me off. Bought the wrong part for my car and then tried to charge me again to buy the correct part without giving me a refund for the wrong part. When trying to return the wrong part, they wouldn't take it. I tried disputing with my credit card and they fought me on it claiming that they honored their warranty. At the end, I had to pay for a repair shop to do the correct job and was out $973. Stay away. They don't know what they are doing and do all they can to rip you off. read more

Buyer Beware!! Buyer Beware!! Buyer Beware!! I went to them thinking they could change my catalytic converter at a lower price than the dealership. They quoted me an estimate of $6500.00 which was shocking when the dealer quoted me $1400. When I asked them was this correct they reverified my VIN number and told me the price difference was because the part (catalytic converter) was a dealer only part. When I called the dealer, they confirmed the part was $850 which means they were trying to charge me $5650.00 in labor. The dealer on the other hand was only charging me $550 ($1400 - $850 = $550) in labor. So I thought their quote had a typo in it. When I called back to ask them about it, they told me it was correct and it would cost six thousand plus dollars to replace this part. This is insane and they are trying rob people in broad daylight while pretending to be a legitimate establishment. I am leaving this review for your personal and financial safety...run away from this retail predator!! read more

Took in a 60k Lexus we've owned since new for a Groupon oil change. They tried to tap us for $1600.00 in repairs including non-existent oil leaks, brake fluid exchange of the clean fluid, radiator flush and leak check on a clean, non-leaking system, air conditioning recharge on perfectly operating cold AC, serpentine belt that showed no cracks or glazing, fuel injector cleaning, $800 to replace the ball joints and $323 to replace the sway bar. My favorite was to change 6 spark plugs for the $524 "tune-up" it doesn't need. When they received a "no" on the above and more not listed, they refused to change the oil using the Groupon because there was "a nick" on the filter housing that might keep it from sealing. They offered to fix that for $171. Here's the capper: On the back of the repair estimate, there was the handwritten personal info of another customer named Andrea which included her DOB, Social Security number, email address, phone, debit card number, and 3-digit security code. I'm going to contact her to warn her to be on the lookout for suspicious charges. Can't wait for the Bot response from Midas: "So sorry you were unhappy with our attempt to bankrupt you with needless repairs...." Folks, when you go in for an oil change and get hit with this stuff, get a second opinion. Terrible service and left my car dirty and making a weird noise. I called at 10 am and got an appointment at 4. I showed up at 3:50 and did not leave until 5:10. In addition to the slow service they left my car with white scratches on the exterior and oil and grease all over the interior. When I began driving it I noticed a whooshing noise accelerating to 30 mph and then again decelerating. They did not put the skid cap back on after the oil change, which left a flap dangling from the underside of my car. Had to return to get that part put back on. read more

Received a 4 wheel alignment and the customer service and labor involved was horrible! After the work had been completed and drove away I noticed my steering wheel position was '10 & 40' as apposed to '3 & 9' when I brought it in. I knew there was an issue before the work was completed. The counter person told me I needed all these new parts in order for me to have all green on the alignment! I declined. Because my car didn't have any other issues other than pulling a little to the left due to me purchasing two new rear tires. After leaving, my car was pulling VERY hard to the left and right. It pulled so hard...it was unsafe. I had to drive below 40mph for me to have control. I took it there the next day to have them address my complaints. The counter person immediately got loud and aggressive and tried to minimize my complaints! I talked to a manager and he referred me to a different location. My alignment was done properly without issue and also without the parts she tried to sell me! The counter person was sooo unprofessional. I almost lost it but kept my composure. She definitely needs a customer service refresher or maybe even a customer service for blown class! A merchant transaction that l'll never forget. Based on an excellent previous experience, I took my 2008 Ford Expedition into Midas to have new strut assemblies installed. Zori was friendly as usual, and very helpful. The work seemed to be performed well and in a fairly timely manner. My issue relates strictly to the price of the parts that I was charged. I don't know if the parts pricing is determined by Midas or the owner of this particular store. Midas charged me $440.99 each for the 2 Front Strut Assemblies (Part 1345560) and $395.99 each for the 2 Rear Strut Assemblies (Part 1345561), which aggregated to $1,673.96 just for the parts. I communicated to Zori (after the repair had already begun) that this pricing was considerably higher than the pricing I had looked at online. The price for Part 1345560 was $68.79 and $96.81 on RockAuto and Amazon, respectively. The price for Part 1345561 was $71.99 and $86.92 on RockAuto and Amazon, respectively. Therefore, I paid over $1,200 more for the Parts from Midas than I would have if I had bought them online. I understand that Midas might be a little more expensive for the exact same Parts, but a 450% to 600% premium seems much more than excessive. Based on my online research of other Auto Repair shops in the area, I feel that Midas grossly overcharged me for the Parts. Probably won't take my vehicles to Midas again...which is unfortunate because I really like the team at this Midas Location. read more

I am at a loss for words at how unprofessional, rude, and crooked this "place of business" is operated. They embody the full meaning of the stereotypical "scum run auto repair" shop. My girlfriend took her car in today to get an oil leak fixed, and upon "fixing" her issue at a severely overpriced charge, she drove off the lot and another part under her car that was undamaged previously from a picture taken prior to the repair, somehow flew off and was run over by her vehicle. This damage was a result of the Midas repair, and when the manager was approached, he not only screamed at her for coming to his office which she was instructed to do after she came back, but he told her to leave the store for using the "freaking" in a sentence to express her frustration. He claimed this was verbal abuse. You guys are pure scum or the earth. Expect my confrontation in person. Update: My girlfriend tried to call after we found out they never even fixed the original issue and the manager hung up on her several times. I had front end problem, exhaust manifold cracked and needed front brack job. At shop i met stan out standing human he took care of my car on time, reasonable price, excellent service. He wanted me to drive first before paying, it drove like brand new and i have 287000 miles on my toyota sienna, after driving my engine light came on he explain in detail how my down stream oxygen sensor blown off gave me time to come to shop on Saturday but he call me earlier and fix my car no charge, he also fixed my front end under warranty which i had no idea it was under warranty.
