Just to start I maintain my cars essentials in top shape. I came in for a oil change and these "Mangers" tried to tell me the brakes and rotors I just got done 3 months ago needed to be changed because of crystallization and that I needed a brake flush even though I had the system bleed when I did the brakes. Older hispanic man who was in room behind the counter like the wizard of Oz tried to gaslight me telling me that because the quality of pad I used caused the the rotors the heat up prematurely lol I used Akebono pads they are the closest to OEM. When I said no they tired to haggle with me like some street vendor. Price went from.900 to 700 lol these guys are nuts when I still said no they tried to get me to get a credit card and some kind of predatory finance loan. I had tires I bought online and needed to get them installed. Anthony greeted me on the phone, was pleasant, helpful, friendly and extremely accommodating. Their rate for the service was below the other shops I had called so I decided to give them a try. My GPS got me a little lost and when I called he was upbeat and let me know that they will still take care of me despite my running late. My mechanic Willy was very helpful and friendly. He saw a non tire related issue and pointed it out to me while doing the tire change for my information and didn't try to hard sell me like some shops would. It's definitely an issue and I knew about it but appreciated the call-out without the hype or pressure to get it done right then and there. It was helpful information. The service and staff were all very nice and helpful, they got me in and out fast and their work was spot on. No complaints, nice people and I am driving on new shoes today. read more

very bad service, i changed my coolant reservoir, fan, battery for over 1000 bucks and now they didn't even put the coolant inlet good, resulting leaking all the coolant oil from reservoir over the engine. don't go with them. they are very dumb to get your car in a good position. read more

Made a appointment for 8am. Arrived at 750am. I made the appointment to have 4 tires installed and a alignment. It is now noon and im still waiting. No apologies no updates, just sit here and wait. So...i talked to two different fellows at front desk of the problems with my old school 71 monte. Sure bring it in..i did been a month no follow up...they cant fix even with a wire harness for direction..several of my vehicle's need tire no answer..my car was running like four harleys now dead and will not start...i had another appt. For the wiring but ive missed..im sitting in limbo...there was a assurance that the car would be running so i didnt have to tow...im not one to give bad reviews a hand shake kind of guy..service now of days suck..and if its not plug and play..most places cant fix...the manager for tgis store told the sales guy at counter to get it out of here..so no tires and a not running car fjr a simple wiring problem that i didnt have time to fix.no response...over a month... read more

absolutely terrible i went in and told them my check engine light is on and it was having a hard time accelerating they make me wait 3 hours to check out my vehicle only to tell me that my "head gasket is cracked" and repairs would Cost $1200-$2000. no actual work was done but they charged me $200 just for doing tests but when i took my car to another mechanic i was told my head gasket is perfectly fine it was my catalytic converter that was bad (which wasn't mentioned by the mechanic at Midas at all) and repairs would cost significantly less than what i was told at Midas. I wouldn't recommend this scam of a mechanic to my worst enemy. read more

MIDAS in Turnersville NJ not deserving of the 1 star. Mike price gauged and misdiagnosed my vehicle. The issue was NOT repaired a diagnostic reading was not done on my vehicle. I had to have the vehicle towed and repaired elsewhere. The Service Manager was unprofessional and rude. BEWARE!!!!! Think twice before going to this place. I took my car here in May of 2023, after it was fixed, it ran until August of 2023 when I began to have problems again, I went back. Today is October 19th, 2023 and exactly one month ago from today, September 18th 2023, my car has been missed diagnosed, and I know this because I took it to another mechanic and they fixed it for a fraction of the price they were trying to get me to pay. They told me I needed parts I did not need. From May, to September, I have given this company close to $6000, and I'm still having problems with my car. With September being the most, I've spent at $2400. Some of the parts they fixed are still having problems. I do not recommend this place at all. Very nice people, but unfortunately it seems they do not know what they are doing or know what they are talking about, I only know this because of other mechanics, who have fixed my car for a fraction of the price of these people have charged me. read more

Brought the car there because the brakes are pulsating when depressed. Dropped the car off the night before. They called me in the morning saying they are checking the car. An hour later needs rotors (warped) and the front wheels balanced. They said that was the cause. $550 I said fine. I get there around 1230. The bill was 25 dollars more, no call to advise. Fine I paid. I leVe and within 6 minutes call them back to advise the problem persist and now the front brakes are smoking heavy. I bring the car back, I was there 40 minutes without anyone saying a fucking word about what was going on. Unprofessional AF! I asked what the status was, " waiting on parts" did not say what parts. 2 hours later I get my xar back. "Should be good now the first rotors I guess were bad" i take the car and the problem still fucking persist. I have to wait to speak to someone AGAIN! $575 dollars for a fucking nightmare. Went in for a quote for a tune up to my 2009 Dodge Caliber. Manager/owner quoted $75.96 for parts, $85.50 for labor, $12.92 for "shop supplies" and $12.21 for sales tax. Grand total: $186.59. Went across the street to Advanced Auto. Bought the spark plugs for less than $20 and installed them myself in less than 20 minutes. Ridiculous rip off artist! read more

I would only go here for the most very basic of maintenance things (i.e. oil changes). I had my brakes and rotors replaced four months ago, and my car has already started shimmying due to warping. I took it in yesterday, and they couldn't figure out what was wrong with it (their mechanics must not be that knowledgeable). I took it in to Sal's on State St. today and he told me what was wrong with it - Midas must have used shoddy parts or shoddy workmanship, because there's no reason for my rotors to need replacing already!
