I've called a few other companies prior to L.J. Wurst and Sons, and they were all fairly impatient on the phone due to it being a Sunday. When I spoke with L.J. Wurst, they were super nice on the phone, and also came to me within the hour. The drive to a local Pep Boys was about 30 minutes, and the ride was also very pleasant. I truly appreciate L.J. Wurst's service on a Sunday afternoon, and their attitude/service was second to none. Best service I've received from any service company in a long time.

On a Thursday I scheduled to have a 38' bus towed from Swedesboro to Franklinville and they told me…read morethey could tow it that next Monday. No one asked me any questions regarding where exactly it was being towed nor did they let me know that they would need a certain amount of space in all directions to unload it. I gave them the instruction to come anytime after 3:30pm, before that no one would be home. I also gave them my phone number and my wife's number for them to call on their way or any issue. I get a call from my wife at 3:15 when she gets home from work saying the bus was already dropped off....not where I wanted it. So I call them back up and the lady at the desk was very nice, but again, she never asked me any questions that would make me aware that there may be an upcharge for something. I told her that the bus was there, facing the wrong direction, they came early and no one ever called. So she had them come back out but said they'd have to get an F350 to come flip the bus around facing the opposite direction, and that it would be another $150! I'm sorry but I already paid $365 for a local tow, and had they waited until my wife was there they would have known where to put it the first time. Had I been asked even a single question of where the bus was going or any surroundings, this also could have been prevented. Additionally, they told me that they were going to pick up my bus early, take it back to their shop and then drop it off at my house later....why? Sounds shady in my opinion. They told my wife they had to remove part of the transmission to tow it, but not only did they not ask if they could start taking parts off my vehicle, but they didnt put it back on before they left. So now there's part of a transmission on the bus floor. No apology, nothing. I would NOT recommend this company!
