This review is to truly convey my gratitude and absolute awe at how Dr. Pitt handled my dog. I have a German Shepherd who is reactive and extremely protective. His backstory doesn't matter here - what matters is that he's like my child. For years, I took him to a veterinarian who would cancel his appointments over the slightest growl. She insisted I sedate him heavily the night before and the morning of each visit so much so that he could barely walk. I used to fear that all those sedatives would make him stop breathing. The experience left me anxious and desperate to find someone who actually understood dogs, not just small, easygoing ones, but dogs like mine. Then I was referred to Dr. Pitt. To call him the Cesar Millan of veterinarians wouldn't do him justice. From the moment he and his vet tech walked in, they exuded confidence - completely unshaken by my dog's growls or his typical tough-guy act. They weren't intimidated. They didn't waste time. The funny thing was that when my dog realized his usual bravado wouldn't shake them, he stopped the drama. And I have to mention Dr. Pitt's vet tech - who, at maybe 5'3" walked in without a hint of fear. I'll admit, when I saw her, I thought, Uh-oh, she's tiny...But I couldn't have been more wrong. She was the Robin to Dr. Pitt's Batman -- right in the action, no hesitation, Honestly, they should have been wearing capes. I was very pleased with his efficiency as well. My dog had a tumor on his chest, and instead of making us wait for another appointment, he handled the surgery the same day. At first, I was a little unsure, but a friend pointed out how perfect it was - no extra stress from another visit. I think I would have stressed more than my dog if we had to wait. When I picked up my dog, he sat down with me and took the time to talk to me even though I told the front office staff I didn't want to hold him up because I know how busy his office is. I've also brought my younger German Shepherd, Gunnar, to him, and his care has been just as incredible. But it was my 10-year-old reactive boy, Ryz, who had me worried. My advice to anyone with a large or reactive dog is simple: this is your vet. They have a back entrance where reactive dogs can enter through. They cleared the hallways. It was just the best experience I have had in the 20+ years that I have had dogs. Thank you, Dr. Pitt and your amazing staff.

Been going here since Oliver was young and now he's 9! So far he's gone under 2 surgeries here and gone under one time for teeth cleaning + extractions; all have been very successful. I love the caring staff and medical professionals here. Don't be hesitant to stop by and get your pet the care they need. Their working hours make it easier for us working folks to work around. Pricing is also reasonable, if you go to other places, it's always double or even triple the price you pay here. Thank you Mid Valley for taking good care of my boy. We are incredibly grateful for the hard work and dedication.

"Compassionate, professional, and affordable care"…read more I can't say enough good things about Reseda Pet Care Veterinary Center during one of the hardest moments of my life. I had to make the heartbreaking decision to euthanize my dog due to his illness, and from the very first call, they were kind, understanding, and compassionate. I had called around to multiple veterinary clinics all over the San Fernando Valley, and not only did they have the best pricing, but they were also able to accommodate me the very next day, which meant everything during such a difficult time. They treated my dog with dignity and treated me with patience and care when I needed it most. I truly felt supported and never rushed. If you are facing an incredibly painful decision and need a veterinary team that is compassionate, professional, affordable, and responsive, I highly recommend Reseda Pet Care Veterinary Center. I am so grateful for them.

After my experience on March 14th, I will never set foot in this building again. I called to make the agonizing, gut-wrenching decision to say a final goodbye to my dog. After being put on hold and then hung up on, I finally reached a staff member who was the definition of a heartless robot. While I was in the middle of a life-shattering crisis, this man treated me with a "car dealer" coldness that was frankly disgusting. He actually had the audacity to tell me I "picked a horrible day" to come in because they were "so busy on Saturdays." Let me be very clear: Nobody "picks" the day their beloved pet dies. It is a tragedy, not an "inconvenience" for your weekend schedule. To be talked to like a nuisance during my most vulnerable moment is a shameful failure of basic human decency. The fact that he only attempted to flip a switch and be "kind" once he realized I was a regular patient is even more insulting. Compassion shouldn't be a tiered service based on your database--it should be a requirement for the job. If you work in a veterinary office and can't summon a shred of empathy for a grieving owner, you are in the wrong profession. You do not get to be a rude, inconsiderate robot when people are saying goodbye. I found an amazing, truly compassionate vet elsewhere who handled this difficult time with the grace my dog deserved. I am moving all of my other pets to that practice and will never look back. If you are looking for an ounce of empathy during a crisis, stay far away from this place.

The prices were always fair-- almost cheap, honestly. Everyone we ever dealt with has been wonderful. They've tried to always accommodate my dog when we needed an unexpected last-minute appointment-- which was kind of a lot because she had a few health issues over the years. They were always so nice and loved on her even though she was a bit of a bad girl. When we had to put my dog down very unexpectedly, they tried very hard to save her. But also, they were honest about no heroics. I mean, they really could've gotten a lot of money out of me to save her, but Dr Moon was honest that it was time to let her go. Over the last nine years, they were all just so good and sweet to her. To be honest, even driving by there, I kind of want to cry even though it's been a few months. Blood work is not cheap here either (I guess that's the running rate here in SFV). However, buying your pet's Rx online can get better pricing. Overall, we got the blood work done and our Rx filled.

When we moved to Encino 2 years ago, we never expected a Veterinary center to be a blessing. This business and all of its staff included are THE BEST we've ever experienced. The doctors are kind, patient, knowledgeable, and professional. Their pricing is unbelievably fair for the service provided. They cared for our most important girl, Remy, throughout the last years of her life. When Remy was diagnosed with a mast cell tumor 2 years ago, we trusted Dr. Kallisher who successfully removed it with great margins and gave our beloved a clean bill of health. Last winter, Remy's cancer unfortunately returned. This time as an inoperable mast cell tumor. We were beyond devastated. This time Dr. Cohen became her primary. Dr. Cohen was with us every single step of the way. Quite literally every single time we had a question about medications, refills, or any other situation. We thank her and her staff profusely for the patience and care they showed to our amazing girl. I am not over exaggerating when I say that with Encino Veterinary Center and Dr. Cohen we were able to enjoy our last months with our cherished dog. As long as we live in Encino or Southern California (likely forever), we will never take our animals to another Vet. We thank you for your hospitality, kindness, and care that you've shown from the bottom of our hearts.

This is not my first review of our beloved Dr G, and I just recommended her to 6 more people again just these past 2 weeks. I always say to people I give her card to: "you will discover she is an Earth Angel - if she moved to a different town, I'd take my pup there... When you find a great vet, they are Gold! She's not only compassionate, present and knowledgeable, but also she does not oversell." Besides all the regular check ups, Dr G. has performed 2 substantial surgeries on my pup in the last 8 years, and has been extremely kind, providing valuable reassuring step-by-step updates throughout, especially aware that I had lost my beloved first dog, (with a different vet), when he did not make it through the anesthesia... In the 8 years Dr G. has been our one and only vet; everyone I have sent to Dr G. has fallen in love with her, and has thanked me for the referral. I trusted Dr G and her small compassionate team with the euthanasia of my precious second dog, Handsome. She is truly an Angel on Earth. At her Chatsworth location, I love that she's created a lovingly cozy "home environment" for the euthanasia experience. That it so needed during that deeply emotional time, and more veterinary offices ought to follow her example. I found her many years ago when I was dissatisfied with a busy veterinary front desk in Sherman Oaks, after they had made errors in my first dog's chart. Unfortunately he passed, and I learned that finding the RIGHT professional truly makes ALL the difference. So yes, I drive from Sherman Oaks. Gratefully so :) I am thankful that my cherished pups are her patients. Her ethics, her care, her kindness, her knowledge, her integrity - she's our number 1!!!
