My review may be lengthy but worth reading! First, I wish I could give more than 5 stars. S&S is…read moreliterally the best repair shop I have ever dealt with. And they are not just a repair shop. They are a full service dealer of a wide array of products. My story starts with a Fisher Price Power Wheels Barbie Camper that stopped working. My granddaughter was heartbroken and so naturally so were we (grandma and grandpa). Fisher Price stopped making them a couple years ago so no way to replace it. It is in perfect condition except when you stepped on the pedal it simply would not go. We called Fisher Price and they were no help. We tried finding someone to repair it to no avail until we located S&S. We brought it to their store and were met by the nicest, friendliest, most knowledgeable and honest couple who own the business. I felt like I was with my best friends after meeting them. After explaining what was wrong, they said it was possible the gear box was bad, which is common, but would not know until getting inside and checking. If that was the problem, they quoted a repair estimate, and we left. About 15 minutes into our considerably long ride home, they called and said the camper was working perfectly after they tested it with a new battery. They concluded that the original 6 year old battery I had been using was no longer charging sufficiently to make it go! They had the right battery in stock and that was all they charged me for. No fee for looking at it or testing it. Just the charge for the battery which was half of the repair charge they had quoted. They very easily could have said they replaced the gear box and charged me what they had quoted and made extra money on this. But they are wonderful, honest people who are extremely good at what they do, which is provide tremendous, honest and friendly customer service. I am thrilled that my granddaughter and future grandkids will be able to enjoy this toy thanks to S&S. I absolutely 100% recommend them to anyone in need of the services or products they provide. You will be as happy as I am if you do!!

I've always been impressed with the knowledge the instructors share with their students. CPW has the equipment and expertise to print your digital photos, too. A black and white film darkroom is also in the plans. Their new home is huge, enough to display exhibitions as well as host workshops. Their staff is also remarkably competent and welcoming.

The color and B&W prints Artcraft has made for me are as good or better than any of the NYC pro labs I have used over the past 15 years and the scans (TIFF) flawless. The prices are similar to nyc labs which might make them seem expensive to anyone not used to how much it costs to develop and print film in 2026, but the value is excellent. There are mail-in options for anyone needing (and more anonymous) service and custom printing for those folks who don't understand that if you don't take good pictures, machine printing is not going to save them. Nice people, professional service and top tier prints!Also...I am NOT connected to Artcraft in any way other than having become a loyal customer.

I needed 12 minutes of a reel to reel tape transferred to mp3. I called and asked if they do this,…read moreI was told yes bring it in. A week later I bring it in (1 hour there and 1 hour home). The person at the counter takes the tape and tells me about shipping charges and that there were rates at 1/2 hour increments (something the person on the phone never mentioned), and nothing more. 2 weeks later I get a call telling me I either needed to pick a half hour from the beginning of the tape or provide a counter number for location. If I were told this at the first phone call, I'd have never gone as I do not have that info. If they told me this when I dropped off the tape, I'd have never left the tape. This cost me 4 hours and about $50.00 in gas with nothing transferred.

I had my tractor serviced and have had a very different experience entirely. For starters they are 6 months behind in servicing anyone because they have one mechanic someone quit and they don't see a need to replace them. I called in October and I just got a call last week. It has been 4 months. They picked up the machine for service. They informed me the tie rods were broken and it would be 1200 more. I said thats fine proceed. A day later they called me and said another part was broken its 300 and an hour labor. I agreed again. My bill came to 14 hours of labor. The tune up of the entire machine and all its systems was 4. The tie rods and housing were ten? I find out later they had the new helper that is in training working on my machine. The extra part I had to pay for is clearly something they broke while taking it apart which is why I didn't hear about it until the next day. I have tried to find where replacing tie rods is over three hours but cannot. When I asked the technician why so long he responded that well we had to wait for the parts? Was I paying for labor while we waited? My tractor isn't practice for your trainee. How dare you. Worse experience ever. If you are lonely and you want to chat up an old man at the tractor store well then yes this would be the place to go. It's that nice country feel. When I asked the owner why did I have to wait 4 months to get the machine in, his response was well I waited a month and a half for an oral surgeon! Poor dear, you can go to someone else, I needed a kubota dealer and did t really have a choice. Not to mention hey that's your mouth that is disgusting go to the doctor for the love of God. Its that backwoods country bumkin mentality that makes this a dying business. Shame on you. Shame on this. No excuse for a business. 14 hours labor?
