There seems to be no limit to the incompetence of the Aspen Dental office in Antioch. My experience…read morewas astonishingly frustrating, and I strongly recommend avoiding this location. I was a first-time patient when I came in for a tooth extraction. Before the procedure, I was subjected to relentless attempts to upsell me on additional treatment until I firmly stated that I wanted only the extraction. At the time, I had active Blue Cross Blue Shield coverage and paid my approximately $200 copay in full. Two months later, Aspen sent me a text message notifying me that I owed approximately $1,500. When I called, they claimed my insurance had "termed." I knew this was false, so I contacted BCBS. The rep confirmed I had active coverage on the date of service and called Aspen directly. During that call, BCBS determined that Aspen had submitted the claim using the wrong Tax ID because the dentist who treated me was a temporary provider. BCBS explained to Aspen how to correct the claim. I assumed the matter was resolved. Two months later, Aspen sent me another text that I owed the same $1,500. I contacted the office and was again told I had no insurance on the date of service. An employee escalated the matter to the office manager, who (get this) then claimed BCBS had told Aspen that I was uninsured. This was a blatant lie and directly contradicted what BCBS had told both me and Aspen in the call. I explained this, but was nonetheless told I needed to call BCBS again. The employee abruptly hung up on me. I called BCBS a second time. Once again, they confirmed my coverage and, while I was on the phone, called Aspen directly. Déjà vu: Aspen had again submitted the claim with the wrong Tax ID. The BCBS representative once again explained to the office manager that the problem resulted from the temporary dentist and how to correct it. The office manager was curt and rude and seemed confused about the basic billing issue, as if it were her first day on the job. She did not apologize or take responsibility and I'm not sure she even comprehended what she was told. As of today, Aspen's portal still shows that I owe approximately $1,500, despite BCBS twice confirming my coverage and twice contacting Aspen directly to explain the error. I should not have to spend hours repeatedly correcting a billing mistake that Aspen made, nor should I have to argue with them about whether I had insurance when my insurer has repeatedly confirmed that I did. The billing incompetence is bad enough; the dismissive and hostile treatment made it substantially worse. Based on this experience, I would not trust this office with either my dental care or billing. Avoid it like the plague.

Worst dental experience I've ever had. I went to Aspen Dental at 5300 Hickory Hollow Ln, Nashville,…read moreTN to have my two front teeth repaired. When the procedure was finished, I looked in the mirror and was shocked--one front tooth was noticeably longer than the other. When I politely asked the dentist to fix it, she became visibly frustrated, started aggressively filing my tooth while sighing, and then said, "There's nothing more I can do," before leaving the room. The dentist and nurse were both very unprofessional. When I pointed out that my teeth were uneven, the nurse rudely told me to "spend more money and get veneers" instead. Instead of acknowledging their mistake, they made me feel like I was the problem for speaking up. The only positive part of my experience was the office manager, who was kind, professional, and genuinely tried to resolve the situation. Unfortunately, the attitude and behavior of the clinical staff completely overshadowed that.

I am in total agreement with many other patients of Dr. Jeff Warden…read more I went in to get a wisdom tooth extracted and have been in pain ever since. I was treated as if I was a drug addict receiving no pain medicine or antibiotics after surgery. I returned two weeks later suffering from severe migraines and pain in my jaw. I have a huge knot on my jaw that is still there to this day. he gave me the 3 minute drill and flushed it out and said there was nothing wrong and sent me on my way again with no antibiotic. still in pain 2 more weeks later I went back again for the same problem that was not getting better, something was wrong. and again he looked at it and said nothings wrong it just takes time to heal. I then proceeded to go to the ER a week later because the pain in my jaw and head was so intense I couldn't stand it anymore. The Dr. at the ER did a CT scan and said I have a bone infection and it was a good thing I came to the ER because this can turn into a bad situation fast. he immediately got me on a high dose of antibiotics and referred me to another Oral Surgeon for follow up. I went and saw the Surgeon who advised me to go back to Dr. Warden because in his opinion it needed to be re-opened and cleaned out. I reluctantly went back once again, was given an x-ray and same story, he said he didn't see any infection as if I'm making this pain up. I have lost so much time, sleep and money because I paid for this procedure cash, from this botched procedure and lack of care. I am still in pain, on antibiotics and nothing for my pain. I am at a loss for words now and don't know what the future surgeries are going to be to correct his negligence. I would advise everyone to stay away from Dr. Warden. I think he truly does not care about his patients well being or care at all. He is egotistical and judgmental. Stay Away!!

Jeff Warden should not be allowed to practice dentistry. Worst experience I've ever had and it's…read morestill not over. On 11/07 I had two wisdom teeth removed and two molars pulled. I've had infection and pain since. I have big knots on both sides of my bottom jaw that have been there since day one. I fully understand that complications can happen but I went back to the office twice and both times felt unheard and dismissed by Jeff Warden. Both times I had pus draining from one of the sites but he still insisted nothing was wrong. Two weeks later I saw my regular dentist who gave my first two rounds of antibiotics after pus erupted from both sites while he was doing other work. I've had three ER visits and am now seeing a different oral surgeon. Adding insult to injury, I was scheduled for spinal fusion on 11/26 but had to get my dental work done first. We had to reschedule my fusion due to infection and it still may not happen if this issue isn't resolved. My out of pocket is met for the year. If this goes into next year it will end up costing me a lot of money. Jeff Warden was aware of all of this up front. He still dismissed me and neglected my aftercare. Today, while on my 5th round of antibiotics, I had to have a debridement (another surgery) to clean out the infection that Jeff Warden insisted was not there. That's another surgery, more pain, more time off work. So far the neglect of my aftercare has caused: * 33 days of pain, swelling and infection * Loss of sleep on many nights due to pain * All except around a week of eating nothing but puréed food * Loss of companionship and intimacy in my marriage * Several days of missed work and therefore income due to either pain, feeling poorly from infection or time taken off trying to get help from medical professionals * Digestive problems caused from the pain medicine, the antibiotics and the modified diet * Money spent on dental co pays and transportation cost while attempting to get help from medical professionals * Loss of work and therefore income for my husband while trying to help me get help from medical professionals * Feeling tired and run down. Keeping a constant headache ( something that I almost never get) and being in constant pain is exhausting I pray that todays surgery is the final step needed to put me on the path to recovery. I was waiting for resolution before reviewing but I feel a duty to get the word out and hopefully save someone else this agony. I implore you not to go here. At least not to Jeff Warden. I glanced over reviews before going and the practice was highly rated. I read through a few and they looked good. Upon further reading I've found several reviews where people have had the same or similar issues and they are all on Jeff Warden. I believe if I were the owner of this practice I would reconsider who I am allowing to operate under my business name. It's just a matter of time...
