I contacted Lowe's contractor to have my washer serviced on 19…read moreJuly It will be going on 3 months for them to repair my washer under Lowe's service plan, The contracted company scheduled an appointment for a Sat between 10:30 & 1:30 to put the parts on my machine but the tech called at 9:30 I missed his call as he called earlier than scheduled so when I tried to call back he would not answer his phone I called 5 times then he told his office he came to my house but that is not true either I was waiting all day on him, I called to reschedule and it will be 3+ weeks more before they will possibly come again, TERRIBLE company I would not ever use them for anything else, I contacted Lowe's Corp. office and they were able to handle my problem internally and assured me they will address the issue therefore I no longer have to deal with this appliance repair company. We claimed he could not perform or get the unit into diagnostics mode because the board had an issue. I need to buy a new board first then he would diagnose the issues. When I told him the method it said online, he said he tried every thing. he Never did a diagnosis of the issue yet we still paid the diagnostic fee!! I came home and IMMEDIATELY put the washer into diagnostic mode to show a DC3 error for door latch! I will definitely NOT be recommending or using Sear's service again.
