I had my first appointment there today for a check-up and cleaning. The dental hygienists were kind, caring, and competent, and Dr. LeBlanc was great as well. Everything is very clean and organized in there and the office does not have the dark, sterile feel of many other dentists. There are lots of windows and natural light giving the whole space a warm and welcoming feel. I can imagine that this would be a great place to bring kids for a check-up - nothing scary at all about this place! There even appeared to be a well-stocked treasure chest for good patients :). I also liked how prior to my appointment I received a reminder postcard and call. They are very on top of everything at Family Dental center. As such, I would highly recommend it to anyone on the market for a new dentist!

They pushed…read morean early morning appointment that the scheduling put in despite my concern I could get there (I work three jobs, it's tricky). I ran a few minutes late and called ahead. The entire mood of the office was so tense it was unreal. The poor staff! I almost left right then. The dentist came in, he was furious and oddly aggressive. He was very loud about embarrassing dental issues that I had, and at the end of his long speech about basically what a pain I was and how self-inflicted my issues were (poverty? motherhood? illness?), he told me "Hey if you you can always find another dentist!" I was shocked at this, because it was so out of the blue, and I had only just started consulting and was looking for a short term fix and long term plan, now that I could start paying for this care. First visit, I thought that perhaps he was a little gruff, but maybe pretty qualified. I struggled to get the next appointments. When I finally got this one, and he said that, I told him I liked his people and I was surprised at his saying that. He pretty much stormed out. What? It was so horrible I paid my bill and went to my car and cried. I never cry about anything, but it was just that awful. I literally felt unsafe with this guy. I went to another dentist who took me immediately; as in THAT DAY. This dentist had a lot of B&R's former employees on staff. They bent over backwards to let me know I wasn't alone in my experience, and they set me up with a wonderful care plan. They fixed my immediate issue and we worked out an equitable treatment plan in a full meeting with the office person who was beyond kind. Totally opposite my Boss & Rorvik experience. Weeks later I got basically an eff off letter from B&R essentially firing me as a patient... although I'd already done that for them and I'd never had any further contact since that day. I don't know what is wrong with that office, and at this point, I don't really care. It prompted me to find someone better who makes me feel welcomed and more confident about my care. But the instability of the big guy alone in this place is a big no for me. The clear stress of his staff is a big no for me. I hope your experience is better. Nobody should feel like that leaving any kind of health care facility, even if it is just a dentist.

I called in weeks prior to schedule an appointment and sent in medical record. On the day of my scheduled appointment, I got there and was told there's no available physician. Given my condition I said yes for a PA to assess me and I was given some medication and did another blood tests and ultrasound. I was informed that once the results are in, the Physician can schedule an appointment to discuss everything - that most awaited schedule was 2 weeks after the initial check up. My second appointment happened and by this time I was already taking the medicine they gave me. my bleeding stopped for a week but came right back after that. Finally my scheduled telehealth came and the physician was 20 minutes late. I was told she had to review everything. My telehealth was only scheduled for 30 mins so I literally just have 10 mins with the physician who bombarded me with details, did not even sent the ultrasound results prior and gave me a list of what should we do. At this point I am overwhelmed with information. I messaged the doctor via patient portal with my questions and I had to call the office just to get answers. The staffs have been messaging me trying to work on a schedule but they kept messing with it not even considering that I have to get my PTO approved 2 weeks. Tried to schedule telehealth but they don't answer my questions and kept giving me different dates. At this point I don't think I can trust this office given the way my case was treated. They wasted my time and resources and delayed the help that I needed. One of my calls with the office manager. I expressed my intent to file grievance to whoever takes it. I was told someone will communicate with me and that communication never happened. I did try to dispute the claim they billed to my insurance for the "10 minutes" of telehealth. Insurance communicated the appeal and was asked to put a hold on the account but they still bombard me with billing messages. One time I try to take go to the patient portal to grab a copy of my ultrasound and I am unable to access it anymore. this is the care that I received from this clinic.
