This office is very friendly and they care about their patients. Sonya Cribb has been wonderful and I would highly recommend this clinic.

First off Dr James Hines does not inform his patients on what he has planned to DO! he said he was gonna do surgery never said what kind of what Dr is gonna perform it, never contacted my insurance I had to find out by looking at my portal. And he did a procedure at the office no numbing nothing, so do not go to this Dr up to you, so I cancelled surgery and I'm gonna cancel surgery, I chatted with someone at the office they agreed with me 100% on everything so don't get Dr Hines read more

i had Ms. Cherry as a provider and she was wonderful. she explained the procedure of my check up and really took the time to make me feel comfortable. my only complaint is i wish they had gowns versus those weird sheets haha - but that's not the providers fault. thank you for all you do! read more

do not go here! I had a horrible experience, that just keeps getting worse and I will not be back. I'm a college student away from home so I was seeking some answers at a local OBGYN - I chose Valley in Saginaw (because they take my insurance) and I wish I went anywhere else. At my first ever exam, my NP and intake nurse spoke about my care right outside my exam door, I could hear what they were saying and it was very unprofessional. The information that they were exchanging was answers to questions I had previously asked the NP while she was in my exam room that she refused to answer to my face. Then I had an ultrasound completed in Freeland, (I had a much better experience here) after this appointment, Valley OB scheduled an appointment for a follow-up for the ultrasound without my acknowledgment on a day that I couldn't make it and before they had the necessary documents to do so from my primary care doctor. They proceeded to and consistently pelt me with emails, texts, and phone calls (I have now unsubscribed but still get so many unnecessary messages). Most recently, I got a email saying that one of my appointments was not covered at all by insurance, which I was never informed of. I now owe over $150 to the clinic because I was never informed properly and they did not bill my insurance! overall, I've been unhappy with the care, the knowledge of the staff, and the clinics organization. I do not recommend this place to anyone. read more

i went here for my first pregnancy it was horrible due to them my daughter and i almost lost our life, then i also prolapsed i didn't get told till my 6 week check up only place around that takes my insurance tho ive been calling getting put on hold for uo to am hour then sent to message and leaving voicemails to make and appointment for 4 months in a row read more

i definitely recommend dr. engelby as your OB. she made me feel comfortable when it was my first time ever going to the clinic in my life. she's always super friendly and warm-hearted. she is by far the best doctor i've ever had!! read more

WOW. Don't walk RUN AWAY from this office if you want Dr Walters as your provider. First we lost a twin, she never picked up on that. I had a horrible reaction to rhogam, had no explanation, just said that's weird never heard of that. Just had a horrible time with her, endless tests with no explanation as to why. We had our son at 35 weeks and he lost his heartbeat. Unfortunately Dr Walters was on call, she was well aware our son was born with no heartbeat on Saturday. It's now Wednesday, going onto Thursday, this office is closed, she was out of town, and the paperwork the coroners office needs is still not sent over. So my son is laying in a cold dark morgue right now, because of her inability to make sure one thing was done. So no, I don't recommend her. read more

This is tricky. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the providers there, and definitely feel comfortable with them. The problem is, the very first people you come in contact with- the reception staff are VERY unprofessional. The waiting room has people in it, waiting their turn and the receptionists are gossiping about the patients LOUD ENOUGH FOR PEOPLE TO HEAR {without naming names as that is a huge HIPAA violation} AND KNOW ABOUT THEIR ISSUES,GRIEVANCES. Ex. my last visit the receptionist took a call from a patient who must have been upset with quality of care/whatever. The whole time she {receptionist} is eye-rolling and mouthing {OOO MY GOD} to the other receptionist. Hangs up phone and says "that was {couldn't hear name because she whispered it} and she is mad because {didn't catch that part} but wants her records and is going elsewhere. BUUUHH BYE". Now mind you I am sitting probably 20 feet from the desk, as were others so we seen/heard all this. If they are talking bad about that patient I am sure they talking about others. Again, I haven't had bad experience with practitioners but the reception staff is horrid. Made me very uncomfortable. read more

Don't worry about scheduling an appointment, the doctors and nurses never show up on time anyway. We always schedule the first appointment of the day and still wait for twenty minutes. Our doctors are great doctors, just don't value their patients. read more

I've had all great experiences here and with the staff. They are so kind and sweet. They have been taking extra time and care to make sure my baby is okay. If I have a second child they will be the first I come to. read more

During my first pregnancy, he did not make me feel respected and I attempted to change doctors. He would not listen to my thoughts or concerns. I got pregnant again and asked again to switch doctors. Per office policy I was told that was not allowed but that they would speak to him. I got a call back telling me that he felt I should find another doctor like I stated I would do if I could not switch. I received a letter in the mail that was unprofessional, blaming me for what happened. When a patient clearly has concerns do not ignore them, it caused me to end up in the hospital after my first baby was born because no one caught that I had C Diff from being prescribed antibiotics and them not looking into the actual issue which was a 5 mm kidney stone. read more

Everyone at Valley OBGYN has been so kind and professional. From the nice ladies at the desk, the nurses, and the doctors/NPs. I rarely wait for an appointment even though I understand from experience that sometimes patients require extra time, comfort, reassurance (especially during pregnancy), but so far hasn't been an issue after 5 visits. Dr. Heilbronn is amazing. I've had 2 pregnancy losses prior to this and Valley OBGYN has been a blessing during this exciting yet nerve wracking time. I would definitely recommend Valley OBGYN. read more

Dr. Canales is by far the best gynecologist I have ever been to. She was extremely thorough and and understanding, and never rushed through an appointment. Her empathy really helped me with what I was going through. She actually did something about my pain and did a laparoscopy, and even sought out 2 other doctors to look at my colon and something else during surgery. I really really recommend this doctor. I went in for a yearly exam late 2016. We had just moved to the area. I saw a NP. It was the worst gyn experience I've had. I had a few concerns, esp being 6 months postpartum and having a IUD put in after delivery. She was extremely dismissive and kept saying my symptoms were probably normal, though her exam was about 15 seconds. I saw a GP the next week because it was still bothering me and I ended up having an infection. She also hurried into the room so fast after the nurse left I didn't have time to fully undress. She performed a breast exam over my shirt with my bra still on! I could see it was busy that day but there is no reason to not give a full wellness exams that can potentially save lives! They also never called with the results to my pap exam. I called them a couple months later- thankfully it was fine!!! I'm not sure if it was just this provider, but I would not go back based on my experience. read more

Do NOT go here if you are not pregnant. This is not a women's health center, this is a baby health center. Telling my gynecologist that I didn't have sex with women (and, therefore, was not going to get pregnant on accident) didn't stop her from pushing prenatal vitamins on me. Three times. Then, they billed me for me for the lab work on my pap smear, and when I called to have it sorted out, I was informed that Friday afternoon isn't really when they work. It took three weeks to straighten out. Not to mention, noone ever called me about my actual pap smear results. This is a baby-making center, NOT for women's health. read more
