They spent a good 40 minutes running tests and determined she had a UTI and throat infection before calling in an antibiotic prescription to CVS which we picked up 15 minutes later. Amazing. Very friendly, very thorough, And I have always been pleased with the level of care I have gotten from him. Many doctors I have seen over the years seem to be sort of arrogant or condescending. Dr Hofmann is definitely not. My parents are also patients of Dr Hofmann and feel the same way about him. I could usually get in to see him within 1-2 days, which is much different than most practices. And the cost of an office visit is less than what you will pay at most Doctors offices. I have moved out of the area, and now, need to find a new GP. I am doubtful that I will find one as good as Dr Hofmann and Princess Anne Family Practice.

She had an appointment on Tuesday for her regular check-up, but we called to see if she could be seen on Monday. We were informed that her doctor had left and moved to Arlington. I asked her why we were not notified, either by mail or a phone call. The receptionist replied they had posted notes in the office and Dr,s office rooms for the past month or so.I responded saying I was a established-regular client, but had no need to go to the office in the last month and a half, but my Mom had an appointment the next day. They did reschedule her with another doctor, but had no apologies for the situation. When I told her i felt it was handled very unprofessionally, the receptionist hung up on me. I loved our Dr. there and feel quite violated at how this office handled this situation. I feel the receptionist needs a real wake -up call, because we are paying her paycheck. I will not be returning to this practice, and recommend you think twice for using them!

We were greeted by an un-enthusiastic receptionist, but my husband always has a way of making people laugh, which he got her to. We filled out some paperwork and were called back fairly quickly. Waiting area was comfortable & clean. The treatment rooms were nice size and appeared orderly & clean. The technician that worked with us before the doctor came in was efficient and very personable. She helped alleviate some of the nerves. The doctor came in pretty quickly, examined my husband & confirmed he needed stitches. We were pleased with services and glad we avoided a hospital visit. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars because of the lack of discharge summary & instructions, nor an itemized bill. I asked for instructions because you can't remember everything they tell you. The "excuse" for not giving out paperwork was simply, "we haven't done that since COVID". THAT makes NO sense!!

She finally called me back and apologized for not getting back with me sooner because she was out of the office. Kim has always been able to solve my issues with staff in the past and I have no doubt that my feedback was heard. She took the time to listen to me and she genuinely cared. Not only did she resolve my issue, she also scheduled an another appointment with another Dr. in the facility. I will definitely give Chesapeake Health Care another chance just because of the way Kim handled the situation. She made me feel like everything was going to be ok, and that means everything to patients, especially when dealing with health issues. I also want to give a big thanks to Christie for calling to check on me after I posted the first review. It's because of the two of you that I will be returning.
