I had a procedure done about 3 weeks ... First, Dr Perrotta reached out the evening of the procedure and when I didn't answer my phone he didn't just leave me a message. He reached out to my husband to ensure I was good...:for me this speaks volumes about the care and concern Dr Perrotta has for his patience. 2nd, The next day another staff member reached out to again to ensure all was well. It was much longer - my face was a deep red and then turn to light brown and stayed that way for 2-3 months. On hot days, I still see the discoloration. I saw little results - had my upper lip and jowl area done. I did see some improvement in my skin texture and it did remove the sun spots but it did not remove the wrinkles on my upper lip and did not tighten the skin in the jowl area. It has been five months post procedure. It was not worth the money that I spent and the stress and downtime of post procedure. I did have some botox done in the office and that outcome was fine.

An infection in my nose and forehead was overlooked, and skin was grafted over what turned out to be an undiagnosed infection. I spent over a year in and out of hospitals, not understanding what was wrong, until another doctor finally diagnosed me with osteomyelitis--an infection that had reached my skull. Rather than acknowledge what happened, Dr. Chang retained experts who made deeply upsetting and humiliating claims about me during trial. It felt like I was put on trial for what had been done to me. I've been left with permanent physical and emotional damage. Everyone deserves to make their own choice, but I personally would not recommend Dr. Chang. If you're looking for a compassionate and skilled surgeon, I had an excellent experience with Dr. John Gillespie, who ultimately corrected the issues I experienced.
