I purchased 3 permanent bracelets for myself and my daughters for a total of $180 one year ago…read more They told us we could have them fixed if they broke. I had to have mine removed for a medical procedure. I already had one I had purchased out of state. I went in to have it put back on and took the other with me as well. They wanted to charge $10 to get the 2nd one also attached. The only additional effort was a spark from the welder they already had out. My arm was already there, the person was already doing it for the one I paid $60 for. I've shopped multiple times here over the years, but never again. There was no extra cost to the store to weld the 2nd bracelet. Customer service is more than just a hello when you walk in. Don't visit unless you want to pay extra for service you can easily find elsewhere.

A locally owned store for over 60 years, this jewelry store is a family tradition and a local piece…read moreof history that is now owned by the family's newest generation, which is really reflected in the store's collection of jewelry. Nice collection of jewelry made by local and regional artists. Styles include art deco, traditional, estate jewelry, modern, and much more. Wonderful collection of sterling silver jewelry with beautiful stones combined to create totally unique pieces. I have purchased several items here, and I can attest that they are as well made as they are unique and beautiful. They have events throughout the year (posted on their website), including wine tastings, evening jewelry premiers to benefit local charities, etc. The store sign is still original, says Reiss Jewelers (a neon sign), so be sure to watch for that sign. The new sign The Watchmaker's Daughter is below it, so it can be a little confusing if you don't know the local

I hired him many years ago to move my grandfather clock when I bought my home. I didn't want to…read morerisk any damage and wanted an expert. He did a superb job. I've had him out a few times since for maintenance. I just got off the phone with him today. I cranked up the weights too far and hit the stop, and the clock ceased to function. It's been broken for months, just haven't gotten around to calling him. I called today and left a message. He returned my call within a couple hours, and walked me through a fix over the phone. Explained everything in great detail; he's VERY knowledgeable about his craft. I would have been perfectly content to spend $100+ on a home visit for him to fix this issue, yet he instead spent 15 minutes with me to walk me through it over the phone. A true gentleman :) Yes, his schedule can be long as other reviewers have mentioned. I made an appointment for a regular maintenance while I had him on the phone. Today is Dec 16th and his first slot was February. But you know... that's fine. It's a clock, not heart surgery hehe. Waiting a few months is fine, and worth it for service by a man of his caliber and expertise. PS - I have no idea why it said I'm from San Francisco, lol. But to be clear, I am not a "lost Yelper" clicking the wrong company. I do mean Ye Olde Clock Shoppe in New Freedom, PA :)
