When I asked him to produce the timeframe that he only had for 3 months he kept making stuff up about me denying repair. I asked he show me the original ticket number and a new one with dates and he would not. This place is not trustworthy and not to be trusted with any of your valuables. Stay very far away from this place.

I then used LW&J to clean and service a rare and vintage Seiko watch. They did a great job. After this I designed a custom pocket watch to wristwatch conversion. I purchased all the parts myself, but there was some tedious custom work that needed to be done, as well as regular service. The price was fair, and the work was done well. I intend to have them create another custom watch for me in the near future. The staff has always been friendly and attentive. I will continue to use them to service my watch collection. They also have a great selection of watches from several manufacturers. I always find at least three of four other items I'd love to buy.

The clock has never functioned correctly since. unable to wind more than a turn or 2 at best. and then it would stop after a very short period of time (just a few hours) this is an 8 day clock. after a few years of not knowing what to do or who to get to work on it I was able to local another clockmaker. He was more than willing to fix it. I have now been informed that the clock only had oil sprayed on everything and nothing else was done. I was sent pictures of the oil just smeared all over the gears. it is totally disgusting. for what I paid to have this work done I was totally ripped off. If I could put a minus score I would. I would never recommend this business to anyone. if you value your time piece please find another clock maker to do the work.

My husband and I purchased multiple engagement rings from Ream Jewelers. First one purchased on 2/2013. The diamond was priced at $13,995.00 On 8/23 my husband went back to upgrade the diamond ring and made the purchase. A trade in was made for $12,000 for our diamond. We purchased a 2.07 cushion cut diamond for $29,000. I since took the ring to two different appraisers who both told me it was not even closed to worth what I was charged which was highly disappointing to be taken advantage of for not knowing the correct cost of the value of the diamond. We did not even get the GIA original paperwork with the overpriced diamond. The diamond was delivered to our home in late October 2023. Around October 26th, which was well over the 30 days return timeframe, but you don't even get it back until after the return timeframe. On 10/30th my husband made our first call to the owner Alan to express our dissatisfaction with the ring and requested a return. He told my husband to "have me wear it for a week or so and see how she feels". I did not understand that the clock was still ticking. Nothing changed for me I was not happy with the quality for how much money we spent. In November, I was on the phone with him for over 16 minutes to request the return again. Alan did ask what I wanted from him, and I told him again to return the ring. Alan was willing to return the special-order band worth $3,900.00. He did go on to state it was a very business time for him in his store and he would like to visit his store after the busy season. We did not hear from him after the holiday season. We were respectful to not disturb him during his busy season and expected that he would reach out to us with a convenient time for us to come in or provide a pre-paid shipping label for the return. He never contacted us after his busy time. I followed up with multiple phone calls and each time he did not remember me nor the situation. After reminding him who I was and the prior conversations we had. He acted surprised that I was unhappy. During one specific call I tried to set up a date to have him meet me at his store for Friday. He stated that he had to drive his wife to the doctor's and did not want me coming on Friday. March 26th, I followed up again with him. He was very aggressive and said he is not going to return the ring, but he will try to sell it on a consignment basis and take a commission on the sale. Just to make more money on us than you already did... no thanks. He did hang up on me and I followed up with an email to him. He was very unprofessional and does not keep his word. In business your word should mean something. It does not mean anything with Alan. We never had a fair opportunity to make the return in a timely manner since he continued to blow us off. Don't not waste your hard-earned money buying anything from Ream. Ream does not care about you or will even remember you. read more

Upon entry it is a skylit setting of a large number of jewelry display counters. Staff are amazingly attentive and knowledgeable. They offer something to drink and ask whatever they can do to make you feel comfortable enough to spend big bucks on beautiful jewels, watches and other elegant fittings. This is a beautiful store with beautiful expensive things. They are full service providing everything from jewelry cleaning, repair, replacement, sizing, whatever is needed to keep your jewels looking their finest. This is not free. These are high end professional jewelers who know what they are doing. Replacing a watch battery is $15. Making a ring a size bigger, about $125. Replacing a tiny stone and resizing, reinforcing prongs, about $225. If you love estate pieces as I do, there are 3 cases. A gold filigree type emerald ring surrounded by peridots was $1500. A large opal in a gold setting, $1600. A 1960s pink opal, $600. I have to say that skilled jewelers are harder to come by. To stock watch batteries when people don't even wear watches anymore, except us old folks, is no longer a Walmart counter service. If I was in the market for high end jewelry and wanted the lifelong service for my investment, I would be very secure doing business here. This is not a mall jewelry store with bright lights making every diamond seem to call your name. This is a first class, no kidding high end place where you get what you pay for. I took a few photos but was worried about appearing to be casing the joint, so no actual offerings photographed. You will just have to go and see for yourself!

I put it on a flexed my wrist and the clasp let go. He told me I was wearing the watch wrong and if I wanted the clasp repaired I would have to send it back to the manufacturer. They said they do repairs but I guess they couldn't make enough money off of me. Now I'm wearing the watch with the clasp taped shut until I can find a reputable dealer who wants my business. Stones are loose and he couldn't fix it. A fine jeweler would recommend and find a way to get things done or send you to someone who can make it happen. We also use them for battery replacements for watches and exercise bands since not everyone in this area has the tools. One Saturday the owner was away and shop closed so we wasted time going to 6 other jewelers in area for a battery. No luck elsewhere but 5 minutes when he reopened we were all fixed. Years ago I even had him engrave saying on an old wedding band. Really a one stop shop for all our jewelry needs, just call before you go!
