I never ever thought that I would ever need a personal accountant...it seemed like an unnecessary and expensive expense and something that I should be able to handle on my own. I had no idea what I was in for. There was no way that I could sift thru all the paperwork on my own. And I had no idea how it would affect my personal affairs as well. I was at a total loss! A friend of mine highly recommended Richard. She worked with him at Bank Of America. She and her family had been using him for years, and wouldn't go elsewhere. I took her recommendation and can't tell you how satisfied I am with his services. He totally out us at ease and we received our refunds faster than I have ever received them. And the fees were totally way less than we anticipated. Go to him!

Verdict: Highly recommend.

After my Accountant had passed away after a 30+ year relationship,…read more I searched for a new accountant through the Assoc. of N.W. Suburban accountant professionals. Mr. Swanson completed taxes for my hunsband & I jointly as well as my Mom. He was complete in days and we received a prompt refund. He was admittedly astounded that my former accountant, who was in his late 80's, had been using the paper method as opposed to filing online. I felt the price was fair: $250.00 per filing (we had a total of 2 filings). I had forgotten to bring my real estate tax bill, and Mr. Swanson was able to retreive online. He also investigated the new windows we had installed to ensure they met the qualifications for a tax credit. Very professional yet comfortable to talk with. Will be using his services again this year.

My vehicle was a total loss plus I was out the money that I had posted to originally lease the car from the car dealer.
