Don't use this company they will give you an install quote for a new Starlink for $250.00 and after they were done it was $1300.00 and still just buffers, on top of that I had already purchased the Starlink myself. Starlink router was installed in my shop just thrown in the courner and the had to install 3 mesh routers. My husband and I just had the best experience today with your contracted technician, Ethan, from the Palmer location. He made sure to keep us informed as to when he would be arriving, which was so convenient. Upon his arrival he was very professional, knowledgeable, courteous, respectful, patient, and kind while troubleshooting what was wrong with my connection to the On Demand channels and answering our numerous questions. He's very informed and knew exactly what we needed in order to resolve an issue we have had since July 2022, yep, over two years! Although we had many questions we asked of him, he was able to answer every one of them and speak to us in layman's terms, which is very important! I highly recommend him to assist those who are "up in years" and if I could, I would give him a financial bonus! The only thing he couldn't do for me was help me get my monthly free ticket for a movie with Dish...I will now attempt to call Customer Service, once again, to receive the movie ticket I was unable to use when I tried to order it a week ago. I HAVEN'T HAD ACCESS to any of the movies On Demand for over the last two years!!! I am hoping they can speak English well enough so I can understand them, and they can understand me. Horrible and inexperienced customer service representatives. Called about getting a dish installed at our new rental home. I'm due to have a baby at the end of the month and was hoping to get it scheduled and installed before then. They told me the next available site survey and installation wasn't for another 2 weeks. I agreed to continue the service request although it was cutting it close. We went through all the set up protocols including a soft check on my credit and payment for the installation only to be told the date they told me "was no longer available" and that the next available was three+ weeks out. I said that wouldn't work with me due to give birth and was told the service setup was canceled... great! Not great. Not only has it been a week and have yet to be refunded for the charge but I continued to get emails from dish network about my "upcoming" install. I called not one, twice, but three times to confirm that they canceled my service request! Finally, on the third call I was told that I am responsible for canceling the dish site install? That the "customer," even though I was never a customer to begin with since we canceled the entire request in the same phone call to set it up, is responsible for canceling the install?? Currently on hold with dish for SEVENTEEN minutes to cancel something that shouldn't have ever even been submitted??! Blessing in disguise I suppose, because if this is how these people operate than future crisis avoided. I would not recommend microcom to anyone I know after this experience. read more

Two years ago, the DirecTV company's salesman came to my store to sell DirecTV and said there was no contract. All the channels were $79.99, so we bought their package. A year later, it immediately went up to $178 and then up to $200 a month. Then I wanted to contact them, but the phone was never answered, only the machine Answer, later I found another number from the Internet. wait a long time before someone answers, the person said to give me discount, but the discount is too littleI. I needed a new receiver for my existing DirecTV service. The sign on the front door says 'Hours of Operation Sat 9 am - 5:30 pm', big electronic sign says, 'We are OPEN!' The doors are locked. After multiple phone calls that got forwarded to DirecTV and AT&T, I finally got someone here in Anchorage to answer the phone. Courtenay in Microcom Dispatch told me the showroom was closed. Yes, I know that. I told her that if she would give me the address of one of the installers working, I'd drive over to him and pick up a receiver. 'They can't sell you one.' 'Why not? These units sell for $99. I have cash, credit card or debit card or a check or you can charge my DirecTV account.' 'The drivers are not set up to do that...you'll have to wait until Monday.' This is, in a word, baloney. The drivers are, right now, selling equipment to other customers. I've not dealt with Microcom before. You can be very sure I won't now. read more

Straight shooters -- no bull! It's about time we had some decent Satellite installers that not only are honest, knowledgeable, and trustworthy; but installers who actually know what they are doing. Microcom set up my mother in Anchorage hassle free. They also have done some great work here in the valley. I just got out of the hospital when they were trying to survey my place here in the valley. And, although I already called them directly from ICU to push back the appointment days earlier -- the installer still came to my house but could not proceed obviously because I was not here, and at the hospital. Other than a typical lack of communication between the installers and their dispatch folks at the office, I would definitely recommend this company if you are considering an upgrade to Direct TV -- Highly Recommended. read more
