I needed to get the battery replaced on my MacBook Air, and after being told by Apple they would…read morehave to ship it to a separate location to fix it and it could take a couple weeks (if not more), I decided to take a look at some other options for getting it replaced, and low and behold I found WarriorMac! Jean was super helpful from the beginning, and he was able to replace the battery within a day because he had the part on hand. It was important for me to find someone who would use OEM parts too, I didn't want to cheap out on the service or the parts, and Jean makes sure to use only Apple parts and products. If you spend five minutes with the guy, you can see he's really passionate about delivering quality work and he's very knowledgeable in the Apple products he services as well. Plus you can't beat his pricing, and he's not going to try to sell you something you don't need. I could not recommend him enough. 10/10 experience, trustworthy, nice, efficient. Now I don't have to stay plugged into a charger in order to use my laptop. Thank you for everything!

Avoid this business. I brought in a MacBook Air with liquid damage that was powered off. Without…read morepermission or any diagnostic discussion, he grabbed it and powered it on, which can cause more damage after a liquid spill. He avoided providing an estimate. Only after I pressed for a price did he quote the cost of a part, not the cleaning. He said this part would need to be replaced after he opened the case, which needed to be done so he could see inside. His quote for that one part alone exceeded the typical online range for liquid damage repair. Considering there could be more costs and no guarantee of a repair, I question why this type of repair is even listed as a service by his company. When I said his website was misleading and expressed frustration, he smugly pointed to my car in front of his house. He stopped talking, waved his arm around in front of my face, and pointed as if to say "get out". The entire interaction took place on his front porch, not in a shop. The website looks professional, but the experience was extremely unprofessional. I would not trust the high ratings here.

I pulled up Yelp and searched local businesses that could do it. I called three places. Dan was the only one that answered right away. I explained the issue and inquired about details and price. He told me to text him my laptop model and he would let me know the price and timeline after looking at batteries. I love that we were able to communicate and do most of the transaction via text. He responded rather quickly with the price, the arrival date of the battery, and that he would be able to do it in house while I waited. I am not sure the going rate for battery replacement. It seemed a little high to me (I know how much the batteries cost and it was more than double), but I decided it was still well worth it to guarantee it was safely and accurately replaced. I have a VERY good laptop that I would not be able to replace with an equivalent model. My laptop is essential for me. He required payment before ordering the battery. I paid and he said he would let me know when it arrived on the specified date. I called him that afternoon since I hadn't heard anything. He said it had just arrived in his Amazon locker. I told him it would be okay to do the following day and when I would come to the store. When I arrived, it took him only a few minutes (maybe 10-15 minutes). He replaced it and asked me for my charger. He made sure it was retaining charge (it was!). I was good to go. The entire process was very easy and painless. I will definitely call (or probably text) Dan again if I run into any more electronic issues.
