I did not have an appointment however I was taken in without delay. The gentleman who cut my hair did a great job. He is very skilled with the clippers. He gave me a consultation examined my hair and together we agreed on a hairstyle that was best suited to my lifestyle and occupation. He is the thorn among roses. You see he is the only male on staff. The five women stylists reminded him of that fact quite often. I felt as if I was among friends during my entire visit. The conversation among the other patrons went from moose hunting, World Series, local hockey, to cooking and dating tips. The $18 that I paid was well worth the cut and the experience. In fact I have already told a number of my male and female friends about the establishment. Satisfied customer

The difficult thing about moving to a new city or country is finding someone to do your hair, so…read morethe first time I showed up at Flaunt it had been over a year since I'd had something done. I made an appointment with Michael and he completely rejuvenated my look (of course, this was after playfully scolding my lack of hair care!). Not only is Michael an incredible stylist, he is friendly and fun to spend a few hours with (without being intrusive). His attention to detail and keen eye make it really easy to trust him with your hair, he knows what will look good on people and what won't, and he isn't scared to disagree or tell the truth. Every time I go to see Michael I walk out feeling like a million bucks, and they are really reasonably priced which is a bonus. Highly recommend both the salon, and Mike himself!

I had gone from dark brunette back to blonde 6 months earlier, and still had a little bit of brassy orange in my hair. Georgia blasted me back to a wonderful honey-blonde and layered my grown-out, messy hair into a stylish, face-framing cut. I look ten years younger, and this hairstyle is so much easier to keep tidy. Not only is Georgia a master of what she does, but she's also incredibly sweet, funny and highly sensitive to her clients' needs. I was an esthetician for many years, and I'm very particular and tough to please. Georgia got my new cut and colour spot on, and I had a fun-filled few hours in her chair and some good laughs. Her prices are very reasonable and fair when you compare her high skill set to nearby salons that charge much more. I can confidently say I've found one of the best hairdressers in Halifax, and I won't be having anyone other than Georgia do my hair services from now on. Thank you, Georgia :-D
