Their price list is clear, they have a loyalty card and lots of coupons and discounts. My only, only, thing is that Redken products are old-school, and, owned by L'Oreal, they still test on animals. But they also carried a vegan line of beautiful colours- so inclusive! My aesthetician was warm and friendly. She explained everything she was doing with professionalism. She did a lovely job on my very short nails which I know is hard to do. I just had regular nail polish applied. They also carry the OPI gel nail colour line. Where you can have your perfect polish stay on for 2-3 weeks straight. A great option if you'll be traveling or getting married. The price was fair and the service was great. I was truly impressed.

I then watched as the supervisor of the salon, who I believe his name was Ed or Eddy something along those lines, yell at the receptionist over the phone until she was almost in tears. I stopped going after watching this encounter and how poorly staff treat each other and how poorly management takes out his anger on reception staff. I booked an appointment with Karen Melay after receiving a referral from a coworker of mine. I wanted someone who was very familiar with short hair and could, at this point, work wonders on my hair. It took me 5 minutes to describe my frustrations and what I wanted, and I kid you not, it took her 2 minutes for me to instantly feel better about my hair. The appointment obviously took a little longer than 2 minutes, but she knew exactly what I wanted and I came out with an incredible hairstyle I haven't seen in 2 years! The atmosphere of the salon is definitely warm and inviting; the stylists have a really great cohesion between them, and you can definitely tell. Not only will I be back, but I'll be spreading the word to anyone looking to find a stylist willing to not only listen to what YOU want, but actually understand your hair as well.
