They put the higher priced items on the higher shelves and the price at the bottom is not for your item, but you won't know until after you've been waiting in line at the register and counting on people just to buy it anyways.

Then as we were going to pay, my boys were laughing and pushing alittle and one of workers screamed st them. My beloved Asics volleyball sneaker is wearing out after 4+ years. It is time to buy a new pair! When I spotted Academy Sports + Outdoors, I walked in without doing any internet research. I headed straight to the Men's Shoes section; they have numbers of shoes available but not the Asics model like Gel-Rocket or Netburner or Upcourt I preferred. The sale associate was very friendly and called support if they carried volleyball sneakers. Unfortunately, No. Oh well, may be I can go to Asics or use Internet! While I was there, I quickly checked their BBQ, Gun, Basketballs, Pickleball, shoes, apparels and other sections. The price is reasonable. They looked fine but I wanted my volleyball sneaker! During my visit, two associates helped me and I feel very comfortable browsing in the store!

Hate to write this review but I had the worst experience at this bike shop. Which absolutely sucks…read morebecause I have been to their other location in doral, multiple times, where the customer service is great, everyone's friendly but at this gables location? They all, including the bike mechanic, need some training. I brought my bike in last week because it had a flat. First they said the service for both wheels & 2 tubes wouldn't be more than $120 - the service ended up being $200. The price is fine but why say $120 and then charge $200? I haven't had my bike for more than 2 years, I've never fallen on my bike, I take care of it like it's my child & on top of that, I barely ride it - when I picked up my bike the mechanic said "did you ever notice this dent on the rim?" No, I never noticed it because it wasn't there. THEY dented my rim - probably in the process of removing my tire. Now that's something else I need to fix. 2 days after picking up my bike - it's flat again (didn't even ride it btw). These people didn't properly put the tube. I called them to let them know that I'll be passing by so they can fix it - whoever answered the phone was extremely rude with an attitude. I ended up going to the doral location and it was fixed within 5 mins. But because of the horrible customer service from their gables location, I'll just be taking my bike elsewhere. Too many bike shops in Miami to be dealing with an incompetent one.
