I love that it's all under a roof. Some shops even have AC. You'll find the junkiest junk and the nicest of the nice! The shop keepers seem to stand by their posted prices. My experience was there's not a lot of negotiation room. If you pay with cash, they usually skip the tax but that's about it. Now having said this, I was buying from the 'nicest of the nice', brand new purses, clothes and accessories. Parking is free and abundant. Expect large pot holes in the parking lot. IMPORTANT ADVICE: pay attention to where you came in! It is easy to lose your way and you will spend a frustratingly long time trying to find your car if you don't make mental note of your arrival 'gate'. There's colored lines on the ground. If there's a shop you particularly like, ask for their business card...it'll have their 'address' on it which shows the color of their row and the shop number. MY PERSONAL FAVORITE: ladies, if you like boutique style clothes, look for Designs by Darlene. Red row. Her clothes are off the charts!!! Unique. Well priced. And she has changing rooms. Highly recommend!

What an experience…read more.. I'm a self-proclaimed thrifting fanatic, and I grew up loving to go to flea markets and priced-per-pound places with my grandma. Maybe it was the heat, but this fleamarket just wasn't hitting when I visited. SETUP: You can really get your steps in here! Park and remember where you parked, then head in. Tons of shops to explore - like miles of it - and it's all covered. It's open air so no AC, but many shops have fans and some have AC running. They have each lane color coded on the floor, so you can remember you started in the red lane, then went to blue, etc. We still got lost haha. FOOD/DRINK: There are restaurants and bars here! Very fun to get a beer to drink while you walk. Most of the food was food truck style - pretty greasy and hot, which didn't appeal to us. SHOPS: This was the disappointing part for me. Maybe it's just not my style, but I was bummed to see it was mostly cheap bulk items and poorly made stuff at that. The t-shirt shops were selling cheap, misprinted Fort Myers stuff - but the prices weren't that crazy good? And they didn't have true tourist stores with souvenirs more than just t-shirts. Some of the shoe stores had some decent deals, a few record store scores, and I LOVED the few well-curated vintage shops inside. But otherwise, it was a lot of stuff I happily passed on. Some of the vendors were a bit pushy (the spa/skincare ones) but otherwise most left us be to browse. Even as a fan of thrifting, I found this to be overwhelming and underwhelming at the same time and likely won't be back.

Some places didn't have prices marked on sale items, which I did not appreciate. They do this to offer you the highest price they think you'd pay, and bargain from there. I'd rather you just tell me how much it is and not try to scam me.... Especially since male vendors like to up-charge young women assuming we don't know what they are so obviously doing. I ended up doing all my shopping at Second Hand Lions. This place is located directly in front of B and A and has everything from antiques to clothes. Everything from vintage home items to some coastal things, a lot of shells in one area. I did find quite a few vinyl albums! Also some sellers offer a certain % off their things during specified dates. I would definitely return & if you sign up for their loyalty program you can get points that give you money off your next purchase. It was a fun experience!

There was plenty of parking with lots of Handi-Cap spaces right in front of the Market building. One thing to mention the sign on the building says Antique Mall, but it's called the Paradise Vintage Market. Once inside all I can think of is wow lots of items for sale. This store is packed full of different venders which have their spaces or what I call Little Stores. Its like a flea market but inside a building. None of the little stores have people inside them. All Items are displayed and if you pick something out you take it to the front of the store to pay for it. Good thing is there is no one to bug you trying to sell you anything. You could spend a couple hours in there just browsing around. It is Air conditioned, and they do have Rest Rooms in the building and for all the items in there its clean and neatly organized. To many items to mention them all but they have anything from Cloths, Furniture, Antiques, Signs, Records, Toys, Dolls, Fishing Rods to name a few. Mr. G's Flea Market is a large outdoor Flea Market with at least as hundred stalls selling used and…read morenew goods and those selling fruits, vegetables and things to eat and drink. We always would go around the outdoor stalls in the morning when we got there and making the big circle around the grounds. Then, it was getting warmer so we went inside for the other vendors. I would always get the fruits and vegetables I couldn't get in my local grocery stores such as Japanese squash that is so good in Albondigas and caldo de pollo. Then it was about lunch, so I'd go bythe stalls that served food to see what looked good. I always got an agua fresca to go-usually, mango or watermelon, if they had it. There is a minimal charge for parking and can get super busy with a line baking down the road. The parking charge is fast and you get in quickly or go before the rush. I definitely recommend going to Mr. G's Flea Market. It is always a good time looking and finding things you want, and lunch is cheap and delicious plus, since it's so large, I call it exercise so it's a great day on all fronts!!

Items include handmade, vintage, antique, re-purposed and salvage. DJ Mike Locke provides the entertainment. On the day I visited I got there close to closing. I am not sure if some of the vendors already packed up but it looked like it. There was one huge tent and then one line of vendors outside. I mainly saw jewelry but here were also hummel figurines, depression glass and other assorted odds and ends. The vendors that were there were ready to wheel and deal. A lot of them were asking people to just make an offer and one women was offering and entire box of baubles for a dollar each. I was looking for some vintage pyrex but I didn't see any. If you want the best selection come when they open at 9 AM. I overheard some of the vendors say that they sold a lot of things earlier in the day. If you are just looking to perhaps snag a deal come close to 4 when the vendors are looking to sell rather than pack it up, The next fair is February 16th. I got an awesome candle from yfsty candles and they were very nice and helpful in allowing me to smell all the scents before I finally picked one. With a big goal of shopping local this holiday season, I stopped by their market on the Sunday after Black Friday to support shopping small businesses. I always love the vendors they have and got a good amount of holiday shopping done. Some of my favorite vendors this time around were Hailey Pancakes, Gypset Co, and the Slip-not headband company. If you get the chance to get Hailey's macarons, do it! She had amazing flavors like coquito (so gooooood) and strawberry cheesecake. They were true to flavor and not overly sweet. Gypset Co has beautiful dainty & minimal jewelry for you best gal friends. I am OBSESSED with Slip-not's headbands. The material is so soft and she has a variety of colors and patterns. There were so many vendors to show love to and buy from! I definitely recommend checking the Flamingo Flea at their next event, wherever that may be. What a great way to support local and get unique gifts this holiday season!
