No, they don't deal with models of the catwalk or editorial variety but are a wonderful throwback to the days of kids making things.They stock different kinds of models but the ones evoking the strongest memories for me are the Airfix models where I struggled to make sense of the flimsy instructions, sandpapered the plastic parts to perfection, glued them together before painstakingly painting them. Happy days indeed. They also stock parts for model railways though they don't have the largest selection in the shop. Their window displays are also quite impressive with one of a behemoth of a rail-transported German World War 2 artillery gun.

They have a great selection covering board games, RPGs (including some wonderful indie titles as well as a lot of D&D), tactics games, and hobby supplies. I had a lovely conversation with Winter while I killed time before a show. I own a game store in the US and they gave me lots of ideas for new things to try! There was a great mix of popular titles and more niche ones, all at reasonable prices.

At first glance the website seemed very simple in design and failed to provide a company registration number and VAT registration number. I always conduct check on these as I have to for the company I work for when we are making an on line purchase. Further to this the payment system of the website is not one I am familiar or happy to use. A brief googling on the payment system returned results from people stating how insecure said system is. I then decided to email the company and ask them to provide details of their Company registration number, VAT number and explained that due to the basic layout and lack of these details I was worried about ordering from the company. I also highlighted the bad reviews found on line for their payment method and asked them to provide an alternative such as sage pay, google checkout, BACS, Pay-Pal or 3d secure VISA versign. The company responded to em with an incredibly blunt and rude email as below: "Have you got nothing else to do. If you are not happy, and if you think that you are an expert on website, then please don't use our website. Thank you Surbiton Sugarcraft 140 Hook Road Surbiton, London KT6 5BZ United Kingdom" I found this to be an incredibly rude Way to respond to a potential customer who is asking for their mind to be put at rest regarding validity of a website. Especially in this day and age of potential on line fraud. I would massively recommend AVOIDING THIS COMPANY. They have next to no manners or respect for a potential customer. I am afraid I cannot comment on quality of delivery or goods ordered as this lack of respect and manners completely put me off ever ordering from them and convinced me to write this review warning other of their lack of professionalism.

I just love coming here. It's not particularly well signposted, and isn't on a street where you'd…read moreexpect to come across it. All that does is make it all the more special when you arrive. The store is an Aladdin's cave of treasures. This isn't those Warhammer type games, no Orcs and Goblins will be found here. Instead, these are the proper toy soldiers from a vast array of eras. They are set up in displays, although the vast majority are for sale. The only downside is that it gets a bit warm in here during the summer, but frankly the awesomeness of it all is well worth it. If you're in the Buckingham Palace area with your kids, then I worth popping in just for a look around - at speed you could do it in two minutes, but I'm pretty sure you'll want to stay longer.
