It was not very busy when we walked in around 3:15pm. We got helped quickly and got our items in an acceptable time frame. It seems as though you can customize your ice cream which is nice. I would have liked more pictures of the ice cream options. My friend and I came here as a central meeting spot between San Diego and San Clemente. It's located close to the 5 and has a good amount of parking. We tried the elote with chips, then we shared a scoop of ice cream. It's the first time we've had elote this way. Let me tell you, they are quite generous with their toppings. A bit too generous. The chips were buried under it all and we had to dig them out. I think I would have enjoyed it more if I asked for a light drizzle of the condiments. The ice cream is a big scoop. They have a ton of flavors and I've waited too long to remember what flavor we got. There were many of them that looked interesting and we had to look them up as we weren't familiar with them. The Dubai strawberry cup thing ordered was $18 and I was not impressed. But now I know I won't order it again. The esquite cup o noodles tho.... Very good! There was no one in here this day and our order took forever to come out. Thankfully the playlist they had on was pretty good. The young man helping us was very nice and professional. I visited about an hour before closing on 03/19, and there were three employees working (two women and one man). Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. The male employee wearing a sparkly shirt and hat was extremely rude and seemed to lack basic customer service skills. Let alone basic common sense that you would expect everyone to have. Not only was the interaction unpleasant, but the quality of our order was also poor it looked rushed and didn't taste good. I understand that some employees may be young or still learning, but professionalism and respect are fundamental expectations in customer service. This place should do better in hiring people who are actually competent enough to do their job. Overall, this was one of the worst customer service experiences I've had, and it left a very negative impression of the business. read more

This is the perfect location for them because there are plenty of food options surrounding them, and there is also a high school across the street Although they are tucked away in the corner, this location will hopefully supply them with patron customers with the student body. Their interior is very bright and colorful and done in the style of Mexican cultural aesthetics. One small downside is that it is very slender and small in design, which can be a disadvantage when it gets crowded. But if you like ice cream or sweet treats, this is definitely a destination to check out. From savory super-sweet, to fruity, coffee-based, to sorbets, to creamy, to spicy, Michoacana Mia has something for EVERYONE!! My girlfriends took me here for a birthday treat. The staff was friendly and accommodated us professionally. I appreciated how clean the shop was, and there was plenty of seating. The young lady that helped me honestly did not hear anything we said and even charged us for item that we told her we didn't want, a few moments later, I'm going to assume it was maybe an owner walked in with her kids and literally walked with them around the counter and proceeded to grab the items they wanted. I don't think that is professional at all. Portions on ingredients were ridiculously too much made the snack not enjoyable. They didn't have a few items and also napkins! Can't say how disappointed we are, the fresas con crema had these huge pieces of unripe strawberries.
