The patron behind me must have been a regular because they scooped his usual order before he even got to the counter AND they greeted him by name! Everyone working there looked so young that instead of wondering whether anyone was attractive, I started wondering when everyone's mother was coming to pick them up. I entered Daisy's as a reasonably youthful man looking for dessert and walked out mentally pricing burial plots and wondering whether Costco sells Metamucil by the pallet. If one can decipher the flavors... the ice cream is rich, creamy, enormous portions, exactly the kind of old-school neighborhood ice cream that makes you temporarily forget you've apparently become old enough to have employees serving you who don't remember a world before smartphones. While waiting for them, there's a whole little cafe here along with a fun and free photobooth with props (it emails you your photo). We got gelato here and mini donuts, but they also have dirty sodas and some food which I'd like to try next time! The staff here is sooo friendly, which makes the experience and stay ten times better. They were very accommodating and patient with us with a party of kids. Highly recommend!
