Scam! Same as others. Won something from a raffle. Then when delivered they spent three hours trying to scam my mother into $6000 for "the same thing you can get at mernards." Their words not mine! My mother said no and the presenter called her manager who tried to convince my mom. Thankfully my mother is smarter than to be bullied. My aunt also won the same raffle and when she called to see if she could pick up instead they hung up on her. Scammy McMcScammers! read more

These people are theives. They steal $5000 for faulty equipment and then when you want your money back because their equipment failed in less than a week they give you the run around until they block your phone number. They prey on people who have had their home burn down because they know you have insurance money to waste. I'm going to have to take them to small claims court. FAIR WARNING.....THINK BEFORE YOU LET THEM INTO YOUR HOUSE. Go to the home Depot. read more

Negative 5 stars. Scammers!!!! I wish I did my research. I got suckered into their long AF scare tactic demonstration about fire saftey. We really liked how we can be away from home and get texts about saftey issues. Well the comm link and app stopped working years ago so what is the point? We are paying $4k in the long run and they take out a loan for you to pay themselves then you pay the loan back. Wish I could put a stop to the payments. Tried to get a hold of them and no one picks up. Might have to just show up! read more

Entered a raffle for a fire truck at the fenton expo and when they called they said I didn't win the fire truck but I could get an emergency preparedness kit (something like that) instead. They then tried to schedule appointments as late as 745 pm, and based on these reviews I'm glad I said no to those. I ended up calling to cancel because my schedule changed and they called me 9 times to reschedule. They even texted with the message being "hi can you call me real quick" no explanation or professionalism whatsoever. I had to block the number because they would not quit. Initially when they called to say I won I asked if I could just come pick it up as it would be easier for me and they said they needed to come do a demo. No mention whatsoever of the time that would take. I actually didn't even know the name of the company until a friend who was also at the expo with me mentioned she got the same call as well, and she told me the name of the people calling. Overall I am stunned that this company is allowed to attend expos with behavior like this. read more

Scam. They bully and use strong arm tactics to sell overpriced services. Rude. Unprofessional. Pushy.

Lies, scams, and more lies! Under the pretense of "delivering a gift" (from a raffle), gave a long sales pitch and, when cut short after 1/2 hour, claimed surprise that the office didn't clearly communicate that the "education" would last 1.5 hours. Obviously this was another lie, because no one would agree to that. Then when she left, she took the "free gift" with her! read more

I received a call saying I had won a "safety kit" and that they had to come out to the house to explain everything that was in the kit. I made an appointment , but then when we looked them up on the internet, they had so many bad reviews we changed our mind and tried to cancel the appointment. I called several times and no one would answer the phone. (That says something right there). Finally when my husband called to cancel, the lady that answered the phone said she couldn't cancel the appointment because we couldn't remember the name of the person we originally talked to. She transferred us to a supervisor. When my husband told the supervisor we wanted to cancel the appointment, they hung up on him. Now I don't know if they are coming or not. Very unprofessional. read more

Multi-tier company most interested in making sales Over-costing the customer. Questions were not answered.

My wife entered for a drawing for a fire truck, or so she thought. it turns out it was a scam to give us a "free" safety kit, if we would sit through their presentation. We did, and I'll be the bigger man and say I misread my wife's nonverbal prompts, and signed up for their fire safety system. I did this because I had assurances from both the sales rep, and her manager (who I found out is named April later on, manager of the Flint MI office) that they would rebate us for the first six months of payments, if we would sign up now. They have repeatedly dodge my calls and requests for the rebate by saying "oh, I thought we sent that out, ill get back to you." and " the manager is out of the office today, we will have her call when she gets back" or " the manager is on vacation for the next 2 weeks and we can't cut a check without her." We just had a child born a month after this system was installed, one that had to spend 2 weeks in the NICU. I really did not need this bill on top of the medical expenses that accrued. Don't buy their product. you can get cheaper on amazon with the same functionality. read more

RUN, DON'T WALK AWAY... FINANCIAL ELDER ABUSE ALL THE WAY! Scam from the start. My 85 year old mother entered a drawing at the Fenton Business Expo. From the other reviews, same scam, different year! They called to deliver her free gift, came to her home, used scare tactics to have her feel unsafe in her home. She signed on the spot for $5,500 @ 21.99% interest for 3 smoke alarms, 5 heat sensors and 3 carbon monoxide detectors. (est. per electrical contract after is $1,000). She told them she needed to talk to her financial advisor who was out of town for 2 weeks and they said that was fine and DID NOT re-emphasize she only had 3 days to cancel. When advisor returned, emailed, sent registered mail & called to cancel - all of which were unanswered. Finally got call back stating she had 3 days, it was too late...she was stuck with overpriced equipment financed at 21.99%! TELL EVERYONE YOU KNOW TO AVOID THIS COMPANY!!! read more

Strong arm sales. Promise the world and then hit you with a terribly high cost around 3k. Easily can buy the same exact products for well under a grand on line. read more

Had Tyler Harp stop and educate me about fire safety and carbon monoxide. Set a meeting place in case of an emergency in the home. Learned about the weakness of store bought smoke detectors and what other options there might be. A great presentation well worth the time spent! read more

All they do is scare tactics, this is a multi level marketing scheme. They don't care about people all they care about is scaming good people out of their money. April the "owner" is extremely rude and has no clue how to run a legitimate business also they act like they know things about the fire service and they have no clue so they are informing the public incorrectly. Unfortunately I can't give them a zero rating read more

Wonderful fire safety products and their safety advisors are trained in safety measures that most of us have no idea about. I recommend getting their free demonstration and get the Emergency preparedness kit read more

I completed an online survey and a few weeks later received a call that I had won a 180 piece emergency preparedness kit. They told me someone would deliver it and give a presentation on fire safety. I'm not as dumb as I look so I know its going to be some kind of sales pitch. I'm also a sucker for a free something that I could buy on amazon for 25 bucks. Guy shows up with a giant suitcase and beat up looking binder. He's visibly nervous and I feel like I'm on Candid Camera (for anyone under 30 this was the predecessor to people doing pranks on tik tok). He starts by asking if I or anyone I know would want to work for his company..... He gives me his presentation which lasts ALMOST TWO HOURS. I actually did learn a few things. The whole presentation is a set up for the sales pitch...which of course there is no mention of until the very last minute. It was obvious to me but the whole set up is deceitful. That's a big red flag. They also make claims about their system with no evidence to back it up whatsoever. He wanted me to pay over $5000 for a system on the spot. When I wasn't receptive he called for backup and put me on the phone with his boss, telling her I had questions for her. I didn't so it was another very awkward conversation where I know she's just trying to keep me talking. At this point it was like hostage negotiation. At the very end the kid hands me a piece of paper and wants me write down the names and phone numbers of TWENTY people I know who he can try to sell this stuff to. If they ALL buy into it I would get the kitchen knives, and the waffle iron, and A FREE VACATION (was not told where the trip was too). I asked if he had a brochure or anything he could leave with any info about the product. He did not. I asked if I could take a picture with my phone of the price sheet he showed me. He said that was not allowed (??). It ended with him scribbling his name and number down on a scrap of paper and disappearing into the night. He honestly seemed like an decent person and he's doing the best he can with with what they're giving him. Tim if you're reading this. I hope you get paid because according to other reviews on this site that seems to be an issue with this company. If anyone is interested in their product (it's called Omnishield btw. Not to be confused with Columbia Sportswear's Omni-Shield insulation technology) I would suggest doing a lot of research. I could not find any reviews from a non-partial source. read more

Mindy gave us a very informative demonstration on fire safety. I feel the system they offer would be great in a rental or cottage property.

Don't even do business with Michigan Safety Advisors cause they bully you into buying their products and I thought the deal was good because the guy that came to my house had me smoke a joint with him and I was buzzed when I signed and the next day they came out and installed them but an emergency came up a week later and they refused to take the product back cause I didn't have $500. + for restock fee..They will rip you off.. Don't feel bad for any of the bull shit stories they give you either.. read more

not even worth 1 star. poor customer service and large price tag. paying on something i cant even get the office to answer the phone or return my voicemail, oh wait, i cant leave a voicemail because its full, for equipment that doesnt even work. ridiculous and a scam. read more

Theese people are scam artists, and they're awfully good at it. They lie to thier salesmen who they call "saftey advisors" Who,by the way, usually have zero saftey experience several employees in the office came from jobs such as walmart. Now would you trust a dude from walmart with 3 days of training to safeguard YOUR LIFE? Personally I'd find that to be disrespect to entrust my life to a dude with a script and experience in only scaming people? Not a chance plus everything is very costly everything is super expensive were talking $3,000 at the cheapest plus worse than all that they want you to also sell out your family! They want you to give a list of family members that they can scam plus on top of everything they think you're dumb enough to let it go and be scammed I don't think that should be the case you shouldn't allow yourself to be scammed by theese lowly thieves and conmen who's only experience is in scams, lies, and blindly trusting whatever shit thier boss tells them read more

Can get the same type of product online for allot cheaper. the gentleman couldn't wait to get out of the house when I told him I don't do selfies. They want you to take a picture of the free kit they give you and post on facebook. he didn't even try to hide how mad he was. I told him from the very beginning that i was not buying, I research everything online before I buy. read more

They call me today I said hello they they said hello I waited no one introduced themselves or said why they were calling .... then the person on the other side of the line said "childish" and hung up, I am sorry but then was the last time a business was not supposed to introduce themselves??? then I came here and read the review never answering a call for them again if they keep happening I will block them. would give zero stars if possible, how rude! read more

"Free gift" scam to get into your house. I researched them and told them not to bother coming to my house as I didn't want to be sold anything. "Hunter" told me they don't sell, but reviews say the opposite. Tried to BS me that is was just safety info etc. BTW they had a set up at the Fenton Art Fair last weekend and assume do the same around the state. Avoid. read more

Great company! Got my free gift and much more so thankful for the information learned!

Tyler Harp came out to our home this evening, & gave us a well-educated presentation. While it took a lot longer than we expected (3 hours when 1 1/2 would do), we learned a lot about fire safety & carbon monoxide monitoring that we didn't know, & reinforced the things we did. We feel confident knowing our home is protected in the event anything should ever happen. read more

Mindy is great and the presentation they have put together is very informative. They're system would be great for houses that are unattended for extended periods of time. read more

Product is ok. Not great, there is definitely better on the market. Their sales tactics, customer service, payments processing, and manager are utterly deplorable. They scam you into buying their overpriced product only to disappear once it is installed. I had problems with their payments company running my credit multiple times, auctioning off my debt, opening multiple accounts in my name then opening a bank account in my name. I wanted to return the system for a refund and they will not let me. The owner is rude and ordered drive through while I was on the phone with her. She kept telling me I was lying and that the payments company would never do what they did, despite the evidence being plainly in sight. She claimed to have tried contacting my parents but my parents have had no contact with her either. It took me months to get a hold of anyone to begin with. The company changed their name and became a new company the month after I bought the system and they were nearly impossible to find online. A complaint was filed with the BBB which remains unresolved. They are unwilling to work with their customers and are clearly in it to scam people out of thousands of dollars. Whatever you do DO NOT purchase anything from them. DO NOT LET THEM IN YOUR HOME! There are many other companies on the market selling products that do the same thing at better quality. Do your research, I wish I had done mine. read more
