This is the second time I've used Michigan Drain. Both times, Gregg (the technician), was prompt and professional. I would definitely use them again and recommend their services. Out of all the places I called, they were the most inexpensive and they were able to get out here almost immediately in both cases (a HUGE plus, especially given that my issues weren't necessarily emergencies). This last time, Gregg spent more time than initially scheduled for as I had a particularly stubborn clog. Although that particular pipe needs attention from a plumber, Gregg was not only able to get it partially cleared (no more standing water!), he also cleared a different line for me so that I can drain our washer and, since he was unable to clear the first pipe completely, gave me a $25 credit despite being here longer than expected and completely clearing a separate pipe and partially clearing the other one. So my main line backed up and I was short on money and called these guys for an estimate just to see what kind of ballpark I was looking at. They instead wanted to come have a look at it themselves, and said they would give me an estimate afterwards. Instead of giving me an estimate, they cleaned the line and charged me what I could afford. True Legends, these guys. We had an addition built on our house this past year. we we're having problem with the new toilet flushing completely. The plumber was concerned that the main line was compromised. We called Michigan Drain to run a diagnostic check. The workers Zhanze and Justice listened to the story and visually looked at all the indoor plumbing. We had them run an auger just to make sure roots or blockages were not causing any problems. They were efficient and answered all our questions and offered suggestions. I can go days without going into my basement, but on Saturday morning I had to go down to get something. To my surprise, my sewer had backed up, and, fortunately, it was not too bad. I called Michigan Drain, and they worked me into their already full Saturday schedule. They got right to work diagnosing the problem and were able to clean out the roots and get me back flowing in no time at all! We have had issues with tree roots growing into our main sewer drain for years. We finally decided to invest in a permanent solution. Michigan Drain installed an outside clean out and installed a pipe liner that will prevent root invasion and keep our drains clear. A big job for sure!
