I recently was here looking for a unit and had the pleasure of working with Robbie. I have to say,…read morehe was awesome! Not only was he helpful in making my purchase, but he was also very patient and kind. He took the time to answer all of my questions and made sure I was comfortable with my decision. Overall I had a great experience thanks to Robbie. He truly went above and beyond to make sure I had a positive experience which was awesome. Highly recommended him to anyone in the market looking for a unit of any kind. Also the parts and service department is awesome as well, I've been dealing with them for a long time with other machines I've got and they've taken care of me well. I'll be back

Horrible service!!!!!…read more **HORRIBLE SERVICE*** Resolution found! Bought a new set of rims and tires from Tusk and the problem is gone. Put the rims and tires from the 2023 on my 2019 ranger and that machine has the same problem. Don't go to this place they will not do any favors and they have horrible service!!! See below for the owners BS response Update: your reply to defend your horrible service is a bunch of BS. I have video of it doing it the day I picked it up. After all of the bad reviews for your service department, maybe your company should look in the mirror. I have not received a call from you at all. Maybe try picking up the phone and calling a dissatisfied customer... Maybe you should watch the video on your own Facebook page of the problem occurring (after power washing) https://www.facebook.com/share/p/FH66FfuSvu7hzVAx/?mibextid=WC7FNe K&W Service department has disappointed my expectations. Lack of knowledge is very apparent in the service department. It became very clear that they are just after a quick $$$ and not taking care of a customer. They pretty much deemed nothing was wrong with the machine that would be covered under warranty before they even looked at it. I went to K&W first when I bought 4 machines in the last few years and they had no stock. I purchased them where I could find stock. This was due to Covid I'm sure. I've bought parts from them and I will say their parts guys were on point!! From the experience I am currently having with their service department I can assure that I will NEVER again do business with K&W AGAIN!!! I took a brand new Polaris Ranger that I paid over $40,000 6 months ago because The front end shimmy and shakes like crazy when driving over 35 or 40 miles an hour All the way up to 60 mph. I have a video of it doing it tonight after I picked it up, but I cannot upload video to the review. All I did was drive it down the road like their service department claimed they did. As soon as I got there their service writer up guy Shawn immediately tried blaming On mud being packed in the tires, there's no "mud packed" on the machine. The attached pictures are from what was on the machine from the last ride. It was sand from a trail when it was raining. I Explained to him that it has done it since the first We drove it a mile and a half on the road up north to the trails. Shawn, then tried blaming it on the tires being uneven because I drove it on pavement. The machine only has about 400 miles on it from three long rides we did. I originally was going to have all of my maintenance done for the engine, Transmission, differentials, etc. I told him to hold off until I can see the Diagnosis of the main issue I went in for. This decision stemmed from Shawn persistently going over the diagnostic fee and charges instead of listening to what the machine issues were. One other issue I was having is the drivers door pops open when going over uneven terrain on trails. Their excuse for that one was you need to slam the door extremely hard, Polaris should advertise that when spending over $40,000 on a machine you must slam doors so that they don't open while driving on a trail. I have two other Polaris Rangers that I have never had any issues with. One of them in the picture with the same amount of sand on it with no issues. Shawn called me twice today Blaming it on mud being packed in the tires which None was found. When I disagreed with him on that he went The driving on pavement Defense... I called Polaris and come to find out. Shawn never opened a case or reached out to Polaris at all. Polaris customer service said they would help if they were contacted yet they weren't. I had to call Shawn back and ask him to do so that when I take it to Extreme Powersports in Gaylord, who DOES HAVE a phenomenal Service department, I can try to get reimbursed from Polaris for the $100ish that K&W charged me to do absolutely nothing.

Soundwaves = Professionalism, Honesty, and Actual Customer Service…read more After a truly awful experience at Mickey Shorr's, I found Soundwaves in Clinton Township--and let me tell you, it was like stepping into a completely different world. I came in frustrated and exhausted (straight off a midnight shift), explaining that my recently installed Rockford Fosgate amp had completely failed after riding in a rainstorm--despite the system and bike being fully marine-grade. The Soundwaves team didn't hesitate. They had me pull in, listened to the whole situation, and got to work--no attitude, no "inspection fees," no nonsense. What they found was unacceptable: * The amp was missing a protective plate cover that clearly had never been installed (based on rusted screw holes). * Bare wires were exposed and tucked behind the amp. * The previous installer cut corners--and Soundwaves cleaned it up, on the spot, because that's just how they operate. They even explained everything in detail and gave me documentation to take back to the original installer (who still found a way to be unhelpful, shocker). Bottom line: Soundwaves turned a frustrating situation into a relief. They treated me like a person, not a problem. They were honest, skilled, and most of all--professional. If you're looking for audio experts who actually care about quality and customer experience, skip the chain stores and go straight to Soundwaves. These guys earned my future business without question.

But they didn't treat me any differently for having an older style bike which I appreciate. Chris helped me with my bike got it up and running very quickly and treated me very well. He even held the door open for me to get the bike into my vehicle. I really appreciated that . I felt attended it to from the time I came in to the time I left. I was initially a little turned off that none of the employees were wearing masks - even though most of the customers were. But, they told me they'd take a look at my bike -- and let me know a few days later that two spokes would need to be replaced. I picked it up a week or so later (again - no masks) and it seemed to be okay. A few weeks later - more broken spokes. Took it back in (this time masks - at least for the counter people)... got a call a few days later and was told the entire wheel/rim needed replacing due to corrosion. He apologized for not catching it earlier... and did a complimentary fix on the spokes this time. I ordered the new tire/rim a few days later and was told it would be in in about a week. Three weeks later - I've heard nothing. I get it, the pandemic has slowed things down... but 3 weeks vs. the 1 week I was promised was a bit much. So I called and was told it was back ordered. Again, I understand that -- but, I feel good customer care would've called me around the initial estimated date. -- Shortly after I left this review, I received a message from Anne Marie Gealy: "We are sorry you felt it necessary to bash us. I'm sure your perfection will overcome any issues you have with any other issues ahead" I didn't bash Main Street Bicycle. I left an account of my experience there. I feel it was polite and true. I am disappointed about my experience there and hoped my review would help improve the experience there. I feel my review was fair and explained the issues I had with the shop. Mrs. Gealy's accusation is unfair and her brash response is undeserved. Instead of contacting me to address and maybe fix these issues would go a long way to turning a bad experience into a good one... instead, my already disappointing experience with this bike shop sinks even lower. So if you want a shop to not properly diagnose your bike, "fix" your bike for it to have the same issue a couple weeks later --- when you'll have to throw more money to get it fixed properly... then have one their people attack you in messenger... then Main Street Bicycle is for you!
