I had a dermaplaning facial done here, and everyone was very nice. The esthetician is incredibly friendly and nice, but I didn't love the facial. The facial didn't include blackhead extractions, which I didn't know until afterward. The products they use are really greasy, and my skin broke out in tiny pimples the day after. I don't have sensitive skin. I've had facials before at other places, and this is the only one that didn't include blackhead extraction. I wasn't a fan, but it may be great for some people. Microblading is a great way to fix all your brow problems, but you should be aware of a possible unsatisfactory result. When I went to have my brows done, I expected to come out of the salon loving my new look. But, that look turned out to be something I dislike, something that lead to my big disappointment and frustration. I disappointed because I was a bad candidate for microblading from the beginning. My natural brows are gray. I thought that Microblading would offset my gray hair, and I would stop tinting them every 3 weeks and putting make up daily. During the procedure, I asked Lindsey how to handle my gray hair after Microblading. She said that I would still need to use a pencil or dye my gray hair. It was my fault that I did not leave this place right away. Instead, I allowed the artist, whose goal was to create a natural-looking fill and shape for my eyebrows, to create zero results for my still gray shapeless eyebrows. If you expect a natural-looking fill and color match with your gray hair, Good Luck! Also, do not go to a place that does not care about you and your feelings. This place was clean, fancy looking wannabe, Lindsey was friendly, and, at first, I thought she did a great job, but you can see the final result. During the touch-up visit, Lindsey showed us how little she cared about her clients. She tried hard to cover her anger and frustration with my daughter and my eyebrows, because the color retention was minimal after the initial procedure. She acted rushed like we were a big inconvenience for her. She tried to blame us on not following aftercare instructions and sleeping on our sides and on our faces. She really assumed that I would pay more than $1600 (for mine and my daughter's eyebrows) and spend 6 hours driving back and forth, so I could care less for my eyebrows. There are true reviews on Yelp with similar problems for this business (be aware there are 2 different listings on Yelp for this office). Please, Read them and Do not rely on all those positive reviews on FB. As a business owner myself, I would never even hesitate to refund an unsatisfied customer, but this place doesn't value your time and money and wouldn't even offer a 50% refund, because, according to them, it would be unfair to their OTHER customers, who didn't get the results that they wanted. Her solution to our problem was for us to come back the third time and, of course pay, full touch-up price again. P.S. Lindsey, please, don't waste anymore of my time writing a LONG response to this review, because I'm not even going to read it. I would never recommend your services to anybody. I suggest you start treating people as your valuable customers, who bring their values to your heart and soul, not just your budget. read more

I would not recommend this establishment, based on my experience. The results were sub-par and the customer service was even worse. I have never been treated in such a way and then they flat-out created a whole other version of events that vastly differ from what actually happened. I've never experienced anything like this and I wish I would have seen the other negative review that is on a separate listing for this business (it looks like they have two listings on Yelp). I assume many of the positive reviews are due to them offering a discount to clients for leaving a positive review which I learned from their FB page. This experience has caused a few weeks worth of stress that has not gone unnoticed by my family--not to mention being out $600 with incomplete results. I cannot say enough about this business! I have had services done by Lindsay and Jordan and have been extremely impressed with their professionalism, care--and results! I was very nervous my first time in and Lindsay was wonderful about taking her time and talking me through the process. Same with Jordan--I never felt rushed or anything other than their top priority while I was there. I did LOTS of research before going in--and I feel they are simply the best at what they do. I was just going to let this go, but decided to post my review of this business, so that any future clients would be able to make informed decisions about using their services. These pictures show my final powder brow results after two sessions ( initial and perfection) Was it worth $800?! Absolutely not! When I expressed my dissatisfaction with my results, I was told that I will need a third session. After two unsuccessful tries I didn't want to waste anymore of my time or money on results that I would probably never get. I thought I was being reasonable when I asked for a 50% refund, but nope, apparently only their time is valuable. I received a long email with reasons why they think I didn't get the results that most clients get and how they went above and beyond for me, but as I mentioned, the only solution they offered required me spending more money on their services. I'm sure there will be a long reply from Michigan Microblading after this review with "explanations", but a fact is a fact, they got paid and tipped for their services and this is what I got. I was less than impressed with the service and outcome of my microbladed brows. The booking fee was $350 with no refunds or rescheduling. When I got there, I was asked to sign a form stating my results may not be good due to thyroid issues, however, my thyroid is well controlled. At that point I would have been out the booking fee so I went ahead with it. I felt as if there was every attempt at making my brows look good temporarily and the technician acted rushed as if she needed to be somewhere. I was informed I needed to make an appointment for 8-12 weeks out for touch up work and that was not included in the price, so out another $200. I have since had to invest in a lot of brow products and do not intend to return to Michiana Microblading. read more
