Once the work was completed the price was $272.00 more than what was quoted. I spoke with the billing department and explained what was quoted and what I agreed to pay. After several phone calls back and forth and checking with the Dr. they agreed to the price that was quoted. I was also told that they didn't accept my dental insurance because it was out of network and the work wasn't covered, therefore, I paid the (quoted) balance due in full. Today, I received a bill from them which showed that they billed my dental insurance the $272.00 and the insurance paid $177.60 with a balance due of $94.40. After speaking with the billing department again, they said that my son was over 18 years old and that he approved the work that was done. I explained that I was the one paying for it and I went with him to the consultation and approved the work, not him. They kept telling me that it was a 2 step process and that's why they charged me the extra money. I had to remind them again that I received a quoted price from the Dr. and if it was going to be more money than what was quoted, they should have included it in the initial quote. Today after going through this ordeal again, they said they would credit my account the $94.40 but still received $177.60 from my insurance which was more than what was agreed upon. Make sure when receiving a quote it's for all the work that needs to be done not just the first step.

It's been 5 years since the last time I came but always remembered their excellent work. Took a while to make an appt since they are always booked. The front desk staffs are very helpful and easy to communicate with by text or email. On the day of the appt, I met with the Hygienist, Karen. She was as nice as can be, so patient as she explained to me why they needed to do the xray photos. She was so careful and thorough as she told me the process. Dr Walsh came in after the photos being taken and checked my teeth and gym health. She also took her time to let me know how to care for my teeth like using the right floss and threader for my retainer parts of my teeth, water pik etc. They are both great at listening and giving suggestions. I was supposed to come back for cleaning in Dec but they were able to send me a couple of earlier dates so I can come in earlier. I came in yesterday for my regular cleaning and met with Robin, she is the hygienist for my cleaning. It was the best cleaning experience EVEr!!! She is very experienced and caring! The whole process took about 40 mins or so I think, never once felt pain and it was done with so much care! I had been having allergies so I told her I would be coughing every now and then. She would pause every time and ask me to swallow and have some water during the process. My stains on my teeth were gone and they looked so polished! I went there because I had an open mouth bite that occurred from a previous procedure from another…read moredentist. My first sign should have been that Dr. Matute said that can't happen, which if you look it up, it can. But, I gave him the benefit of doubt because he had great reviews. I expressed to him how important my teeth are to me, actually teared up, and I need them fixed and my previous dentists just kept me coming in for different things to bill and not addressing the open mouth. My teeth, other than the open mouth, were in good shape, loved going to the dentist and went faithfully every 6 months.( I know, weird). He apologized for what others had done to me and said he could fix my teeth with Invisalign. I was so happy. I started in December 2024. By April 2025, at an appt., I complained about the spacing that was happening that I never had. He assured me that by December it would be better. Every 6 wks I went back and complained as well as several texts in between, he again said by December it will be fine " I promise, have faith". In September, we actually got into an argument about the spacing, as I said it is getting worse. I started recording my visits as every complaint, the only thing they said was "Are you using your chewy's?" Like I am a child paying $10,000 and not listening to the dentist. When December came and it was time to end the Invisalign, he said see you next week to get your night guards. I said what about these composite resin on my teeth. He said he would take them off next week. Next visit, he spent approximately 4 minutes and said looks good to me how about you. Well if you have been in a dentist chair you know you can't always feel things right away, and he made me feel like I was a bother to him and he couldn't wait to leave the room. My teeth are now worse than they have ever been IN MY LIFE. I still have resin on every tooth, which feels like my teeth are filthy, space between some teeth that is a venue for cavities and can you tell which picture is from December 2024 and which is December 2025 that cost me $10,000. Next 2 visits he couldn't be bothered to come in to see me. I know you can't tell by the pics, but my teeth are ruined.
