I was…read morethere at 9:45 for a 10:00 appointment, and I had to wait an additional 15 minutes for the hygienist to come out and get me. When I was in the chair and as she was cleaning my teeth, another patient came in and the hygienist told me that she new sign language and she'd be right back so she could interpret for this patient. Although I appreciate the gesture to help another patient, I was astounded that she would just up and leave like that when the current patient should be treated first! When she came back, she didn't talk to me much because I guess I had some fillings that needed to be done. This has happened with subsequent cleanings, as her mood would shift once she saw something that could be a cavity. Dr. Tonner was fine, but he didn't explain things very well and was always in a hurry to go see another patient. I also wanted to point out that this office is cavity happy. Even if it's something microscopic, they consider it a regular sized cavity. Be careful who your dentist is and ask the right questions, is the lesson I've learned! Dr. Tonner also didn't let me know that he was leaving, so his associate, Dr. Dominguez, did some fillings on me that were so painful he had to give me extra Novocain. Dr. Dominguez actually seemed more concerned about getting me in and out of the chair than he did about my comfort.

I went to a dentist in Oak Brook who specialized in TMJ. The treatment plan I was presented with astounded me. The total plan would cost me more than $45,000, was incredibly invasive, and I would end up with many of my teeth being crowned. I was waking up with excruciating headaches daily. My headaches were so severe that people around me could tell just by looking at me that I was experiencing a bad headache. My jaw clicked and popped and sometimes even locked up on me. Dr. Kim presented me with a treatment for Invisalign. I have now completed my full ortho plan and am waiting to order my retainers after I complete a little dental work (I decided to replace my old silver fillings and needed a couple of crowns). I can not even begin to try explaining how quickly my headaches started to subside. I would say by the time I ended my 3rd set of trays, the headaches were about gone. My bite is 100% improved, and I do not have any clicking or popping. My smile is wider, and it just feels like everything fits better. Thank you so much for helping me feel better.
