Arrived a bit earlier than scheduled, but they called first to see if it was okay (it was). They asked the right questions about what goes where, what gets thrown out and what gets saved. Basement was in a major (bad) state, and this was the first step in getting it cleaned out. And being an old guy, I couldn't do it myself. They did an excellent job all around. When they explained why they couldn't move out one large piece (a work bench that they said had been assembled in the basement) they offered to move it out of the way so the cleaners would be able to work efficiently. They did everything right. They did it efficiently and effectively and courteously. They were helpful, and understanding, and very very careful with the stuff I needed to save (for family/memories). I would hire them again in a heartbeat. In fact, I may need to call them again next year to move some stuff out of the UPstairs! Hire these folks. You won't be sorry. I appreciated the time they all took to find the least expensive way to ship with the right amount of item cushioning. As other reviewers have noted, the prices are not cheap. I have shipped from lots of places in California that cost a lot more and arrived damaged. My mother used Pak Mail to send me items, and they always arrived as good as when she shipped them! Pak Mail is worth every cent!

This company charged me more than an extra hundred dollars a month for the same policy at several other competitors. Inquiries about why my policy was so high were met with disinterest and excuses but no real facts. I called to make a change to my policy to try and make it cheaper and was still charged previous amount. The resulting phone call to inquire how that happened was met with the older woman who works for Murphy screaming at me and then hanging up. There was no aggression on my part and no warning on hers before she let me have it. All I did was explain the situation and ask if the difference could be applied to next months bill. So glad it happened with witnesses present because the situation was so unbelievable the reality gets lost in retelling. I have NEVER had someone in a professional capacity talk to me like that, much less with no apparent reason. I feel bad she had a bad day but that had no bearing on my policy.
