The entire business model is the result of being a salesman first and a teacher second. The "live"…read morewebinars are 100% scripted, even the "audience questions" at the end. The "limited time deals" timer resets whenever you refresh the page. The default payment option is the "easy pay" option which splits the total cost of the program into 5 payments. However the ultra fine text that tells you that the price shown is only 1/5 of the total price is difficult to find and harder to read. Customer service is unhelpful. The content is minimal for the high prices that are charged. Rich Dad Poor Dad the book is good for getting you into the right mindset but DO NOT drop any more money on this company when there are much better options out there.

Robert Kiyosaki is really motivational, especially his books. I really like the one titled, Retire…read moreYoung Retire Rich. The boardgames are pretty expensive and it doesn't consists of more than any other board game would, hot property on Ebay for a while. I was talking to a lady at the LA Real Estate Wealth Expo who said the games made her totally get off her butt and purchase property, so I got the adult game and the kiddie version was thrown in for free. The games are pretty true to life, it's better to have a calculator when you play. The point to to get out the rat race as fast as possible, and start playing in the big league. I could see how the game parallels with my own financial habits and thinking. Like real life, you get surprise expenses like a class reunion or auto repair, and events like job loss or becoming a parent, etc. You calculate how you're doing on a profit and loss statement. I don't think the games are worth as much as I paid for them, and I got substantial discount - but I do think playing it often and well will probably have an effect one way or another. I meet both Robert and Kim Kiyosaki at the expo, the stars of the show even more than Donald Trump or Susie Orman. People were clamoring for their autographs, taking pictures with them, and their seminar the most popular. Kim is just like she is when you see her on tv and Robert is tougher than what you see on tv, cussing included. His financial column on Yahoo draws a lot of comments and some of it is good advice. It does seem the writing is not edited or crafted carefully so there is lots of debating, both pro and con with negative remarks about what is sometimes just a misuse of a phrase or word. Robert is sometimes called on the mat for having written Rich Dad Poor Dad, #1 New York Times, #1 Wall Street Journal, #1 Business Week bestseller, and #1 USA Today business bestseller because of the popularity among the network marketing people, but the point is the book ARE best selling. Fact or fiction, for people that already have this kind of mentality, his books are very motivational. I know people that have personally gone from no rental property ownership to having substantial holdings. Recommended, it certainly won't hurt. Boardgame winner - Mike L.
