I honestly don't even know where to begin. The owner Tiffany had reached out to me because she had…read morefound me on 'American Massage Therapy Association' page for a potential contract for a company near where I lived. I was asked if I knew any other therapists who would be interested in working for the event as well and that for every referral I would receive an additional $25. I had two referrals who were able to make that date and time for the contracted event. I then sent Tiffany their contact Information. Now the day comes for the event and it went smoothly. Once finished with contracted event, I submitted the invoice and then knew that I would have to wait the 2-3 weeks for the check to come in the mail (not ideal when working for a company that you have had little interaction with, as you don't really know if you just got scammed). After I had sent the invoice (June 22nd) I let Tiffany know and asked about the referrals I had given her, she claimed that I only gave her one, I told her that was incorrect and she told me no because she had contacted one of the referrals I had sent (thinking she had found the LMT) I luckily saved every text/email and was able to provide her proof that she was in fact incorrect. Rather than apologizing for the mistake she left the message on read (Quite unprofessional if you ask me) so I responded a day or so asking her if she had received my message on the referral only to receive a small response to confirm. The next time I heard back from Tiffany which was on July 2nd to which was an email to confirm the payment for hours worked and referrals because the checks would be sent out. Within that same email Tiffany had also asked if I can walk one of the referrals through the invoice process, now I'm not sure as to why she would make this to be my responsibility when she is in-fact the owner of the company and this too was my first time working as a contractor for her. I have no issues helping anyone out but what I do have an issue with is an owner of a company who doesn't take the time to help out the people she employs and to rather just brush the job off onto someone else. Again, pretty unprofessional. Lastly with my experience as a contractor with 'The Back Rub Company' I sent out an email today asking about when the checks would be in as I was previously told it would be in 3-5 days after being sent (remember I was told check would be sent July 2nd it is now the 11th of July) when contacted back I felt as if I was being belittled (I think anyone would be concerned with the situation as I have not worked for the company prior to this and no sigh of a check) I had also mentioned that the other woman I had referred (one who turned invoice on her own) had reached out to me asking about the check, when Tiffany had replied she told me that "if 'referral' had a question or concern, she can contact me directly." Which was somewhat amusing to me as when the referral who needed help with their invoice had reached out to Tiffany, Tiffany herself had passed off the answering of the "question or concern" to me. Again, unprofessional. If you choose to partner with 'The BRC' I recommend you save all interactions and paperwork (if any). Now on the perspective of a business owner (I too own a Travel Massage business) and for an employer to reach out to potential contract employees and then ask those employees to bring in referrals let's me know that this company doesn't have that many connections, this event needed 10 Massage Therapists to contract for 3 hours. In that 3 hours you have a nonstop flow of clients who are set up with 15 minute chair massage intervals. So each therapist would have 12 clients in the span of 3 hours. That being said 10 LMT for 3 hours allows for 120 clients to be seen, the event was not fully booked with LMTs, there were only 5 of us which I (including myself) had booked 3 of those LMTs. So if you are a company wanting to book chair massage for your employees I'd recommend to look elsewhere as 'The Back Rub Company' does not have the resources to book larger company events. Overall, I am highly disappointed in 'The BRC' and the way Tiffany speaks to contracted employees. I hope this review helps.

When I showed up I noticed the super clean / tidy environment and was promptly greeted and welcomed in. They not only have massage rooms but also an entire PT room full of all the corrective goodies plus a full time physical trainer! Jerry did my deep tissue massage. It was honestly exactly what I needed. He initially asked what my concerns were and how he could be a part of helping me be pain free. He was interested in my issue and put 100% attention towards fixing it. WOW is all I can say. If I could give them a 10 star I would! What a great business they have going, I immediately called my wife and asked her to call in and book her own appointment.
