I have been suffering from Hashimoto's since I was 16, and I have been to many regular doctors that…read moreonly gave me synthroid, and it would not remove any of the symptoms I was feeling. I was still lethargic, moody, had constant brain fog, etc. I may not be overweight, I just ate regular food. One doc from the mayo clinic had prescribed me the wrong dosage of medicine and I was off the rails, depressed, extreme moodiness, etc. After that I was done with regular doctors, I found Dr. Sarah and yes at that time I didn't have insurance and labs were expensive through the regular companies ($1k); cheaper through Natural Med Doc(~$325). I did the elimination diet, I got back into working out and one day I had absolute clarity for the first time in years. I could think, I could remember, I had energy; and I cried because of that moment. I have been with Dr. Sarah since 2019 and am slowing lower my need for medication. I believe I can be cured even though I got the death speech multiple times back with regular doctors, Of course Dr. Sarah really helped but it's on me to prioritize my health, my future. The body is an amazing thing, you can heal (you got to believe it) and be diligent about it, or you can be a victim and whine about it and never be healed. Your choice.

I came to…read moreNatural Med Doc to help get to the bottom of a constant energy and supposed thyroid problem. They claimed to be able to help, but took the exact method that I've seen from every other doctor. Even a primary could take. Put me on thyroid medication and then did expensive. Blood draws every 3 to 6 months. The difference was an expensive on front payment with no proof of work and then nickel and diming everything they possibly could on going. If you are addressing a chronic Health problem, I would definitely not go to this Clinic. If you are overweight and would just like to pay expensive fees for blood draws and a general Health coach then I guess this is your place.

I've been seeing Monica for the past few months, and I truly feel like I got my life back…read more When I first called Monica, I wasn't sick, had never been diagnosed with anything, wasn't on any medications, and all of my labs were always "normal." But I struggled with horrible brain fog and extreme fatigue. I could barely get through the day without a nap, had trouble waking up before 8 a.m., and constantly felt exhausted. I honestly thought that was just how I was always going to feel, but after my first consultation with Monica, she was so confident she could help me. After following her program, I feel like a completely different person. I have energy throughout the day, wake up early naturally, and no longer struggle with brain fog. Even the little symptoms I had learned to live with--and didn't realize could actually go away--did. I finally feel like myself again, but an even better version. I'm incredibly grateful I found Monica and can't recommend her enough. Working with her has truly changed my quality of life.

I've been working out with Lucas since I moved to Scottsdale about 1.5 years ago…read more Lucas is the first true personal trainer I've worked with, but I have had multiple gym memberships at various places, some of which allowed me to sign up for one-off 1:1 training sessions. Unfortunately, none of those gym memberships or 1:1 training sessions worked for me. The difference between my prior memberships and Lucas is the accountability factor and the added bonus of having a registered dietitian helping from a nutrition standpoint. No one at 24 Hour Fitness is holding you accountable to show up everyday, and no one at Orangetheory is delivering a workout that is tailored to your specific goals. Lucas has been great about adjusting workouts based on my personal objectives, and his dietitian has been equally great with consistent recommendations specifically for me. Above all: Lucas switches it up so it's not boring and mundane, he's fun and personable, and he's flexible with my crazy busy work and travel schedule. I'd recommend him to anyone looking to get fit. I spent years dealing with suspected hormonal imbalances and lots of "oh you're fine" comments from…read moredoctors when discussing health concerns.  I finally partnered with a fertility specialist, but was given a very cookie cutter approach: a quick diagnosis of PCOS, prescriptions and a plan for IVF if I wanted to get pregnant.  This process was not satisfying or helpful, so I reached out to Stephanie to work on a more holistic plan for problem solving and healing. There's always some sticker shock when approaching care outside of insured medical care, but once Stephanie and I completed our introductory interview, I knew I was willing to invest in the process.  This was an easy decision for me because Stephanie immediately presented herself as a thorough investigator, empathetic supporter, and passionate educator. Through testing, food journaling and regular sessions, Stephanie was able to provide me with a robust understanding of what was actually occurring within my body.  She beautifully explained so many complex health and nutritional topics and always empowered me to come up with new habits, choices and practices to address the root causes of my health concerns.  This collaborative process has ensured sustainable changes and lasting effects where modern healthcare did not, and that far exceeded my expectations of working with Stephanie!

When I finally…read moredecided to get professional help, I chose to work with Stephanie because I liked her holistic approach on treatment - I liked that she did comprehensive testing to help identify what exactly was causing my PCOS symptoms, helped me advocate for myself when talking to my doctor, and helped me make lifestyle changes that were tailored to my everyday life. My goal when I started working with her was to better understand my diagnosis and learn what I can do to minimize the symptoms, and that's exactly what she did. I was depressed and discouraged by the advice I was being given by my doctor and people online. I felt like my symptoms were getting worse and was losing hope in ever getting better. After working with Stephanie, I completely understand PCOS and I feel like I have the tools to help manage it. In 3 months I felt the beginning of a significant transformation. I wasn't expecting to lose much weight, but I've lost 10 pounds by making simple lifestyle and food changes. I started sleeping better and had more energy throughout the day. I learned that stress heavily impacts my physical health so I finally had the courage to seek mental health services, and I am better for it. My friends and family can see the changes in me and I have Stephanie to thank for that. The best thing about my journey with Stephanie is that she helped me realize that prioritizing care for oneself, setting healthy boundaries, and advocating for yourself is the best thing you can do for yourself. I think oftentimes we get caught up in caring for everyone else we forget to care for ourselves. I'm so grateful to have met her and to know that I have a lifelong resource of support and knowledge! If you have PCOS and want to understand more about your diagnosis and if you're trying to optimize your fertility, I would highly recommend working with her.
