I walked into my first appointment feeling so overwhelmed and I left feeling like a complete idiot, only because I had not gone in to see her sooner. I felt silly for being so overwhelmed, not because she minimized my problems, but because she made me feel like I could finally start managing them. She's incredible. I've been through so many different health care providers, and she is one of a kind. She truly listens to you, she truly cares, and if you have any health concerns she's going to get to the bottom of it, almost as though she takes it on as a personal challenge and will not be defeated. She is your biggest champion and advocate. If she can't sleep, she goes down rabbit holes reading about how to solve problems for her patients. She does that shit in her free time, and it shows. She's absolutely brilliant, kind, and going to the doctor has never been more of a delight. I have now been a patient of hers for almost two years, and she has absolutely turned my life around for the better. Her husband and co owner is also wonderful, and together they make quite the dynamic duo. She's a busy woman with lots of patients, children of her own, etc., but if you need her, she will absolutely make the time for you, and that is a quality unfortunately uncommon in the healthcare industry. I asked to be put on a waiting list for cancellations. This was refused. Hence, a 4-star review instead of 5. Final Note: There's an old saying... a really good doctor usually has pretty bad front office staff. Try to over look the front desk because Dr. Engler and Benson are worth it.

The annual physical was very different from what we have been use to over the years. That may just be a change in the time and a way that doctors differ in their care?! Bedside manner was excellent from everyone... medical assistants and doctors! Lab work was done in-house, the day of the appointment rather than in advance and results discussed... neither of us cared for this method, but we were informed we can do them earlier in the future. They're fairly quick to return calls and they utilize a web based portal to get messages and lab results to you, which is nice. Overall... I'd definitely recommend them for your everyday family practitioner needs!

They made the excuse that "other places are doing that too" and "you probably didn't realize since it was in the fine print on a form we had you sign." I'll take my business elsewhere.

I am writing about my experience with the particular office on behalf of a patient (my father). We were referred to Dr. Haghighi as a secondary opinion for a cancer diagnosis. Not sure why this was appropriate to begin with since he is a gastroenterologist. But besides that, an available appointment wasn't until 2 months after the initial staging with the primary physician. Once we finally did see the Doctor, the office took another 2 months coming up with a treatment plan. We were told this was after "consulting" with doctors in Seattle (don't actually know if this took place) for over 6 weeks, though the treatment plan he came up with for the cancer patient was a colonoscopy and nothing to do with cancer. When we tried to obtain files to see an oncologist for appropriate treatment and care, the office assistant hung up on us after stating HIPAA policy violation though we have been previously authorized by the patient and there is a signed waiver authorization on file. The most unprofessional staff and most unpleasant experience during this difficult time.

A doctor that can stay on schedule is what we have now: "what's your problem? Okay, here's a prescription. Next patient" And Dr Mike made it clear that he could not accept Medicare patients because Medicare doesn't pay for anything they consider unnecessary, which is anything beyond taking your vital signs. Those of us approaching Medicare age knew that and planned to pay out of pocket. He was worth it.

She listened to each concern I had and The entire staff from the person that asked if I was checking in to the nurse who took my vitals and the The reason I'm giving 4 stars is the lady you see after you have your appointment. I think she was Filipino. I don't remember her name but I gave her my new patient forms. She was rude when talking to me and I was confused because previous doctors I've had to do labs I've had to go another facility. So I didn't realize I had to go to the lab across the hall before turning in my form. She then had to raise her voice slightly and it really didn't sit well with me. I work in customer service and it really makes a difference when you talk to a worker who's respectful and nice to you. Every other point of contact at this place (receptionist who checked me in, doctor, nurse, the lab workers across the hall) were very professional except for her. In fact after I came back to turn in my form and give a copay, she was on the phone and her tone of voice was completely different and very nice to who she was talking to. The front desk staff will put you through to the medical assistants voicemail which says they'll call you back within "72 hours" which apparently in medical terminology means "never". This has happened to me on 3 separate occasions now. Moral of the story: if you have a simple question for your nurse or doctor, just make an appointment for that day. That's the only way you'll get an answer. Extremely frustrating!
