Chiropractic, PT etc etc...my best relief has been Thai massage. I'm at Texas motor speedway for two weeks and was looking for a mobile massage and found Nicole' Coffey on Yelp. While relaxation and pampering are nice, I prefer to do therapy that addresses my pain and provide relief. When given the option this evening, I chose the constructive painful path and have NEVER been more grateful for the work and time Nicole put in! After over 200 massages at least, this is the best one I've ever had and she provided coaching on daily stretches customized to my challenges. Had no idea I had 3 ribs out of alignment, 3 vertebrae also and collarbone out on both sides and she fixed all of it!She's also a post-operative specialist and shared insight and guidance no other Dr or massage/pt therapist ever has. I have 3 titanium discs in my cervical spine from a ski crash that I waited to treat until two years ago and she told me things about my injury just by feel. She is worth traveling here to see and learned some people do. I am so grateful knowing that I found her here on Yelp and what an amazing result! She also refused my tip and went a bit over to be sure to coach me on stretching exercises and address issues SHE would not leave unresolved! Healers and humans like her DO exist and wanted to share my gratitude with fellow Yelpers...

A special artist that gets me through rough times and boy, for the past few months I needed a relaxing massage whilst listening to what I wanted. She made me feel 100% comfortable, especially as a person who has issues with people touching my body and especially my feet. Not only did she make my body melt into a oozing relaxing puddle, the session was also informative. She taught me some things about my body's muscles and some tips on how to strengthen those misguided muscles. She really seems to have a love and, especially, empathy for what she does and the people she treats. This was more than just a relaxing session, it was an informative medical treatment too! I booked a 65 minute custom massage though massagebook.com and was able to fill out my premassage paperwork all online. In the morning I received a confirmation email, and I was go to go. I used to live down the street, and didn't use my navigation, but almost walked into a carribean massage setup. There are a couple of similar buildings, and some of them offering massage. Trees is across the street from Silver Dollar Winery. I arrived a bit early and Edith was ready for me. First thing, we went over physical history and her process. I have sensitive skin and don't use anything with fragrance, Edith has it covered. I have some prior injuries that need to be considered, Edith is on top of it. She asked me my preference of music, and away we went. The bed was warm, which was really nice, since it was like 30 outside. She started on my back, with a very light touch. I thought it was going to be THAT kind of massage, but no, she was just getting ME ready. I am a hairstylist. I work on my feet, with my arms up. I get tight EVERYWHERE. No matter, I am no match for the mighty Edith. She was amazing. She worked out knots I didn't know I had. I'm sore in spots, but I can MOVE. It is quite possibly the best massage I've had. Edith was informative without being chatty. She didn't ask me if it was too much pressure, she really only spoke to me to give direction, or information. I appreciate that. It didn't feel rushed and the atmosphere was comfortable. I will absolutely be back.

She made sure I was comfortable with the foot bath temperature before beginning. Carissa started with soft pressure and slowly increased and always listened if I needed a firmer or lighter touch. She will gently help stretch your hips, legs, ankles, and shoulders after massaging each area, and she listens if you need a break from the stretch. The only thing I did NOT like was that she tried to crack my back for me, so I asked her to stop. The scalp massage at the end was also very relaxing. She did not ask for tip up front like the other girls do, so I asked her to run my card again for a tip afterward. (I really don't like that the other staff want their tip up front! It should be based on the service!) After my last visit, this was a much better experience with Carissa! I will call and specifically book with her again.
