I came across Kree's Yelp page because of how close she was, but what really stood out was her website--the caliber and vibrancy of her photos were incredible. I knew right away she'd be a perfect fit for capturing my niece, both in her cap and gown and in her super colorful prom dress (which I was confident Kree could do justice!). While searching for photographers, I found Heather through a friend and saw she was offering a "40 Over 40" portrait experience. After looking through her portfolio on Instagram, I knew I had to set up a call. From our first conversation, Heather was incredibly warm and genuine. You can truly feel how passionate she is about empowering women of all ages, shapes, and sizes to love their bodies and embrace who they are. After that call, saying yes to working with her felt like an easy and exciting decision. Actually, I hadn't originally planned on specifically doing a boudoir shoot. It was a wonderful experience from our first call to receiving my photos. Heather is a force! When we spoke I knew she was going to make sure I was comfortable and that my photos would be amazing. Having professional hair and makeup was also really useful. I was a little worried about not liking the result, but the MUA listened to my desire to have a natural look and I was impressed by how much I looked like me, not caked in makeup. Heather's outgoing personality is perfect while shooting, she keeps up a conversation so you don't have time to worry about how you look. I especially appreciated being posed from head to toe. Heather teaches you the tricks for great poses and facial expressions.
