"I don't make money on your mortgage, so I am sorry if things got messed up on our end" - that was Michelle's response to an issue with our mortgage. Guaranteed Rate couldn't guarantee that the closing statements they issued on Apr 13 and Apr 18 are the same. They arbitrarily took off the closing credits from my closing statement and didn't even bother to inform me. After I found out post-close, their response was pretty cool that they don't care about your small mortgage of $150K. Also, they jack up all kinds of fees if you are not careful. read more
