Got to the store, an employee was sitting in corner and completely ignored me for a few minutes. I ended up asking him if they had the card I had called about. 'I don't know' was his answer. Sat there no help at all and made NO attempt to offer how to assist. I finally asked 'is there anyone you can call to find out'? He sends a text to the owner. Owner replies with a price higher than he told me two days prior, which was $20 MORE than comps sold online. This wasn't the first time the owner told me one price, then when I got to the store, wanted a higher price. Seems to be a habit of his as well as having 'employees' in the store that are pretty much useless towards customers looking to spend money. Don't waste your time, you're far better off shopping online. You'll get cheaper prices with NO surprises and better service.

Every thing that is marked regular price is 20% off and they have a monthly competition where they gift a buyer $50 if you bought at least $20 worth of stuff. At the time of this review, it was my second visit in 20 days and I still came out with a huge haul (see pic). It also carries art supplies, games, and childhood gems from the past and present. They have an online catalog but also have many items that aren't listed. Recent purchases from here were stencils kits purchased as a gift for a young man in the hospital and he loved them. I purchased two games recently Yahtzee and chess and picked up curbside. The chess set is well made with durable pieces and a great value. Before the pandemic, it was a fun store to browse in and look at the variety of vintage and modern toys. They also carry that line of books about towns or cities history with vintage pictures. Tecumseh has a rich history especially and some local buildings and landmarks are well preserved.
