I got Michael's services through a Groupon and he did come with no ladder. However our windows swivel such that they can be cleaned on both sides from the inside of the house. Michael removed all the mullions cleaned them and re-installed them nicely. I do recommend him if you have the swivel type windows because our windows are now very clean! read more

Disappointed to say the least. Much like the other reviewers, he showed up with no ladder and no towels. After he left I walked around looking at the windows; there are streaks and fingerprints on several windows. My downstairs window is blurry to look through. I went upstairs to put towels he used (my towels) in the washing machine, and found that the upstairs 2nd bedroom windows were closed. Upon further investigation, the windows were put in backwards (I have pop out, double hung windows) and the screens were not put back in properly and after a strong gust of wind, wound up on my driveway. I guess I won't be enjoying a cross-breeze upstairs for awhile. So, now not only do I need to find someone else to come back and re-clean my windows, I need to have my screens fixed (they encountered damage from being blown out) and find someone to put them back in properly. read more

Terrible. I purchased a LIving Social deal for $99 to clean 27 windows inside and out (supposed value $250). Michael arrived in a small car with no ladder. How was he going to clean any second floor windows without a ladder? He also came only with a large (say 24") wide squeegee...clearly designed only for simple, large commercial windows. Didn't have any towels. To clean the interior windows, he had to remove the mullions which are attached with little clips. He (sort of) put the mullions back, but left the clips all over the floor. I had to go around and find them all and put them back on. Then, he left the exterior door to my library wide open and the furniture moved out of the way when he left. I discovered this about an hour after he left when I was trying to figure out why the house was cold. He also left the side gate to my yard open......and my two dogs escaped later that day. Moved plants off the window sill....left them all sitting on the counter. I purchased this specifically to clean only the windows that are hard to get to and/or I can't do myself. One of the rooms had divided light windows that had 8 panes per window. Michael told me that EACH PANE would count as a complete window. Really? So based on the fact his normal pricing is $250 for 27 windows, he would charge almost $250 to clean 3 divided light windows. Don't think so. Then, he wouldn't clean the storm windows on the easy-to-clean windows on the back porch. So, he cleaned the outside of the window and the inside of the storm, but because he didn't clean the inside of the window and outside of the storm...they aren't really clean. I have one kitchen window over some exterior stairs that needs a proper ladder to get to to clean it properly. As Michael didn't have a ladder, he simply used an extension on his window cleaner which didn't get to the corners or do a very good job. So, basically, he cleaned a few, easy to reach windows that I clean myself routinely....the areas that I needed a professional for, he was unable to do. Tried to send him an email with my concerns, but his website doesn't have an email address. We have dozens of tradesman in our home routinely doing maintenance and repairs...he's a young guy that needs a lot more training in how to be a professional and go into someone's home and do a professional, clean job. read more

Like other reviewers, I found Michael through an online deal, and used it for my parents' andmy own home. Although I was surprised that Michael cleaned our second story without ladders or scaffolding, I found him to be experienced and efficient. I was pleased with the quality of his work and will utilize it again. My mother also agreed that the windows were well cleaned. However, she commented that services she used previously also cleaned the window sash instead of the glass only. read more

We were skeptical when Micheal showed up to clean our windows in a little car without a ladder , but he did a great job at a great price. Some of our windows are three stories high. I noticed a Groupon for Michael's window-cleaning recently, but had had a BAD experience w/ on a couple years ago, so went back to see which company that was. Sure enough, it was Michaels! My first red flag was that he said he'd clean the outside of my windows from the INSIDE. I could've done THAT! Well, during that process, he took a huge chunk out of the frame of our cherry window and didn't say anything about it. I noticed it after he left and spent a day w/ wood putty and stain trying to repair the damage. There were also several scratches on other windows and sills, and when the sun shone, I noticed streaks and missed spots. read more

Michael's Window Cleaning normally handles commercial clients but he also does residential. Michael is professional, careful, very thorough and a pleasure. And he does a better job that I could do. I was also taken in by Michael and his Living Social deal. I set up a cleaning date with him and he never showed up. When I called him he had some excuse, but set up the second date, only to not show up again. After that he stopped picking up the phone. We were lucky because Living Social refunded our money. I purchased a living social deal. It was to clean inside and out. He arrived by himself with only one squeegie. He asked me to borrow a towel. He used dirty water throughout the house. There was a bunch of gunk on windows he had already completed. When I inquired, he said it was just taking too long to get the stuff off. Not only do the windows still look terrible, the curtains were left dirty, the window sills had grime from dirty water all over them and the floors were left wet. Additionally, the towel, which he borrowed, was left in the middle of my kitchen floor. Overall- totally dissatisfied and will not use him again. Guess you get what you pay for. read more
