This is one of the cleanest Michaels I have visited. The signs are very helpful for finding supplies or arts items. Staff are available if you have questions or need help finding an item. Parking is shared with other stores but there is plenty in front of the store. The check out line moves quickly and you probably could spend additional time wandering the store, finding items that your house needs or could benefit from. All seasons and holiday themes can be found here and it does smell nice during your time in the store. read more

This is a great store it's always well organized and the people who work there are helpful. The kind goes fast for checkout.

Store is kept very tidy, no complaints at all (on that front). However the staff can be kinda hit or miss, depending on the day and the time. I've been in and been met with cheerful faces, or (as is the case now) been in and was met with staff hustling to try and wrap up the day. Just happened to be picking up a few items, for a kids project and found myself standing in line (by myself) watching two ladies sanitize their stations and begin stacking baskets. I figured it was close to quitting time, so I wasn't too bothered... until one looked up, saw me, and continued straightening. Oddly enough, this still didn't bother me and eventually she waved me over and quietly rang me up. No real issues. Definitely a "go to" for those last minute crafting needs. read more

This would be a great place to send associates on how not to treat customers. Asked the manage on duty where something was. Took me over to it which was great but didn't say a word the whole time. Two associates were standing at the registers laughing and looking at their phones. No one actually wanted to help read more

Completely terrible customer service prices messed up wasting time talk to them if you need any help

Horrible customer service at the Michaels in K Plaza in Omaha! I was looking for something specific. Online showed in stock at this location. After searching the store, I asked three different employees for help. Each only pointed "that way if we have it". I then asked for a manager, who told the employee to let me know if I couldn't find it that they must not have it. I then left and called to speak to a manager. I informed her of the bad customer service. She was mostly quiet and never once apologized for the customer service. I still do not have my item. read more

Have made purchases for years at this Michaels including framed artwork and photos. This last December I dropped off a photo to have it made into a 20x16 canvas After the work was completed and I got it home of my Grandchildren pointed out that the canvas seem to have a problem on one side where they duplicated a small portion of the original photo. Contacted Aaron Brothers who apparently does there canvas work. Long story short on 12/29 i got an email from there customer service team and they said they would get back to me after they heard from there production facility. In late January I followed up but alas as of 3/8/2021 I have not heard a peep. So be very careful if you use there canvas service and inspect it very carefully because in this instance they were not responsive to the motto on there form, " You'll love your product or we'll replace it". read more

The store is always tidy when we shop and the cashier's are always kind. Unfortunately, there is never anyone around on the floor to help. The cashier will always be glad to answer any questions and wait for me to come back. The items are a little pricy but online they always have great coupons. You can always ask for a coupon, I have never been told no. read more

The staff here are very helpful - especially during the holiday rushing season. If there was a misplacement of items to a discounted area, they are upstanding enough to offer the discounted price. For many of your craft needs at reasonable prices, I would vote for Michael's! read more

The store is well set up and the staff are friendly. One of the things I like about this store vs. the one on 72nd is that when I need staff assistance, I can actually find someone, unlike the one on 72nd - it's always tough for me to find staff there. read more

This place is okay if you are in a hurry. However, I have found that their selection seems to be inadequate compared to any of the other craft stores in the area. I've also noticed that the prices at Michael's tend to be slightly higher than all the other places. For example, yesterday I bought a package of 18 mini glue sticks for 3.99, but Hancock Fabrics had a package of 25 mini glue sticks for 1.99. Also, I had to use their bathrooms once. I won't be making that mistake again. A 2 minute quick pee trip turned into a 7 minute fight with the single ply toilet paper. I mean, I went to a public high school, I am familiar with low grade toilet paper, but this was the absolute worst! It was almost like really cheap tissue paper. I'd try to get some and it would immediately rip off. So annoying. I'm not saying that there should be charmin or anything, but quality does matter! I think Michael's would be okay if they were having a sale or you needed something fast, but for everyday crafts I'd suggest other places in Omaha. read more

Overall this store has a large selection for those like myself who love to work on crafts. You can find just about everything your looking in one place which is always nice. However, I thought the prices a little high on some items but over all it was reasonable. read more

This store is horrible. They never have enough cashiers working, so there is constantly a line of at least 5 people every time I shop. If I ask a question to an employee, 9 times out of 10 they do not know the answer. This includes the products that they carry or how a particular item works. It doesn't appear that any of the employees actually do "crafts" as they all lack expert product knowledge. I do mostly jewelry and painting among many other things and have never received proper assistance. Instead of assisting customers who need help, the employees are generally standing around talking or blasting over the intercom that the store will be closing in 15 minutes. The employees here need to ALL be trained as cashiers, need to have MUCH better product knowledge and need to have specialists in-store that can assist those of us who spend ridiculous amounts of money here. I would go elsewhere, but there are few stores in town that are close to home and carry what I need...even if it takes me 45 minutes to find it. read more
