I absolutely love Michaels but it's always so hard to find help when you need to find someone to ask for help. Many things sometimes don't have prices on them and it's impossible to find someone for help. But overall this is a great store great prices and many things to pick from. They even have classes you can take free but some you have to pay for the materials. There is ample parking and always coupons on the internet for you to use on regular priced items. Over all great store and I will always be a customer there.

The ladies kept the store open late for me. I also had Noooooo clue what i was looking for but the employees had my back. Its like they all were artists lol. Thank you

Pretty much given up on this Michaels. Complete disaster every time I come in here. The shelves are always a mess which makes it hard to find things. The bathroom is also disgusting and one of the stalls didn't even have a lock on it.

Love me some Michaels arts and crafts! Always have sales going on! 40% off a lot of the items I was going for. Plus got some puzzles on clearance. This location is clean and organized. Friendly staff which I always appreciate that! You can find just about anything in here for any projects or crafts and then some.

I ordered a yoga skeleton and it came broken and Taped up in several places. It obviously left the store this way and we have no way to prove we didn't damage it

The whole place in general is pretty gross and smells bad the closer you get to the back. Nobody seems to know where anything is at if you ask for assistance. Good luck

We have a very big arts and crafts project that has been started. We decided to come to Michael's to get the supplies necessary. The store was completely stocked and very clean. There were items that we needed to locate and it was easy to find an employee to help us find them. Diana was at the checkout and told us about upcoming sales and even gave a coupon to save money. Very nice experience. Lots of parking. Right off of 215/ 5th

From the moment we stepped inside the door, you could tell something special was happening. A couple of tournaments were taking place, tables full of people playing card games, cards all over the tables, lots of energy in the air. It felt like an local game store type of place, a community hangout! Even though there were so many activities going on, it did not feel too crowded. There was still enough open area for us to check things out, and they offered a very strong selection of items! They had a great variety of trading cards, Pokémon, Magic, etc, including both single packs and bulk buy sealed items. My daughter headed straight for the Pokémon area, and we picked up a few packs while we were shopping here. It was a really fun visit overall. Both the lively tournament scene and the wide variety of cards that they offered made me feel like this is a legitimate store to support your card collection hobbies! My daughter and I both enjoyed ourselves and we would go back here especially to get more Pokémon cards. We'll have to try out a local tournament at some point too!

Mostly all we knew was we were tired of spending money on junk to only have it breakdown in a week or so. First thing you notice when you pull up to the store is the racetrack painted in the parking lot complete with several ramps. Guess what? It's free to use! 24/7! We went inside and we met with Floyd ceiling RC cars, parts accessories everywhere! It was exciting to see just how far this rabbit hole could go! In another section of the store stem-centric toys (like science kits and build your own RC Lego cars) and another section is dedicated to 3-D printing. Still further in are three indoor tracks that you pay for time on. One is a super fast carpeted racetrack, and then there are two rock crawling tracks one for minis and one for regular cars. Dotted throughout the store are numerous arcade games that are free to play. All of that sounds awesome enough, but the friendly staff are amazingly knowledgeable and endlessly helpful. They don't make you feel like idiots for not knowing everything they do. They really are friendly and I've already spent a small fortune there!

My husband is a big Gundam fan, and while exploring the area, he found this amazing little shop just off the Strip. As soon as we walked in, I could tell he was in heaven--it was like watching a kid in a candy store! The shop had a fantastic variety of Gundam kits, including models from Japan and another section from China. The collection was so well-organized and fun to explore. While we were shopping, my husband noticed that some of the same kits he had purchased online before were priced about $15-$20 less elsewhere. But even knowing that, he didn't hesitate--he wanted to support this small, local business. That meant a lot to both of us, especially after learning the shop is backed by its own tight-knit community. "Locals supporting locals" is something we value. The staff were also genuinely kind and welcoming. I wish I remembered their names--they made the experience even more enjoyable. We ended up buying quite a few kits and were concerned about how we'd get them all back to San Francisco. Fortunately, they offered shipping, and everything arrived quickly and was packed with such great care. We also noticed they were selling some awesome shirts and learned that the artwork was created by one of their community members. The designs were so cool and creative that we decided to purchase a few. We actually came back for a second visit during our second trip to Vegas--and, of course, picked up even more Gundam kits and shirts. With recent tariffs being added to imports, we wouldn't be surprised if prices go up by the time we're back in August. So honestly, what we paid might end up being a deal! If you're a Gundam fan or just love supporting genuine, community-driven small businesses, Downtown Hobby 9 is absolutely worth a visit. We're already looking forward to stopping by again on our next trip--stay tuned!

Overall, it felt like a local game store that you would see in your neighborhood that sells cards off of shelves as well as various tabletop games, collectibles, and hobby supplies. If you are interested in shopping for Pokémon or Magic: The Gathering (or any Trading Card Game) there is ample opportunity to browse around and spend time in the store. Upon entering the store, we immediately headed to the Pokémon section. We found both of the Pokémon building sets we wanted in that area and there appeared to be many different options for us to choose from. All of the products were clearly displayed so we could easily see what each product included and how much it cost. When it came time to checkout, there was one small issue related to the price listed on the box being lower than the price reflected when rung through the cash register. The employee was cool about it though! Once the employee spoke to management, she gave me the better price which was the price listed on the box and credited my account with the correct amount. The staff at the store where I made this purchase was super friendly and helpful. Power 9 Games had a wide variety of products available to choose from. Even though there was the error with the cost of my purchase I would definitely go back to this store in the future as well as recommend it to anyone looking for anything related to their Pokémon collection.
