OCT 5th I placed an order for these awesome ashland bats. OCT 7th it shipped. Box was damaged and returned to sender, someone named "Patty" received it in Ft Worth, TX. NOBODY CONTACTED ME. NO EMAILS. NOTHING. I contacted them on the 18th via online rep, they said it'll be re sent (see screen shot). 1 week later I call this time 1800michaels... Order was placed on hold... because they're waiting on the return of the box they got 9 days ago. They said sorry over and over. Guaranteed they'd expedite my shipment. Said itd be a day or two before shipping.... Hung up. 10min later I get an email notifying me of a refund. So I call AGAIN... They said it was automatically refunded because no more stock available. ITS STILL FOR SALE ON THEIR WEB PAGE. Am half tempted to order one with the $20 "sorry we screwed up" card. read more

I live over an hour away from the Missoula store. I was there a few days ago and bought my great nephew a pair of the "Squishy" slippers. They are the wrong size. I am unable to come back into Missoula until next week. There were only a few pairs left so I called to see if I could purchase the right size over the phone. Store policy does not allow that but Deb was Very Kind and Understanding about my dilemma and has agreed to hold them for me until I can get to the store next week. My older parents came in today to buy about 20 different large picture frames and we were using the back table by the custom framing area to lay them out as we picked them out. The staff, Bridget was incredibly rude and made us feel like an inconvenience she told us that we needed to move everything "Now" and glared at my parents. I asked her nicely if there was somewhere else we could place them for now since they were big and she was not helpful at all. we also had separately mentioned that we were looking for more large black frames just to make conversation and she responded saying "well there is nothing I can do about that". the whole interaction just kind of seemed rude and unnecessary. everyone else was very kind. we understand they needed the space and we were happy to move but she was just so rude and I did not appreciate how she talked to my parents and did not offer any kind of assistance. read more

I love coming here to look around and it is right on my end of town. Michael's is known for it's art and crafts supplies, but my favorite thing about it is the seasonal decor. The store is outdated and could use a good update. Some areas of the flooring is wore down and it is pretty noticeable. This particular store is smaller than others I've been in, but you can still find all the basics here. There are two separate price scanners, one on each side of the store, so that is a plus for me. Many items are priced high, but they do have an app which always has various mobile coupons you can use. If you see something you like, check to see if it is already on sale. Most of the coupons are for non-sale items but occasionally they do release ones that can be used for items that are on sale. read more

I went to Michaels for a frame for a piece of artwork. The frame was in stock. I had questions about other framing needs. Christina was very knowledgeable, very courteous, and very pleasant. They have a great selection of crafts and they also have some great sales and coupons. I would have rated it 4-star, but I couldn't find anyone to help me to save my life and I wandered around the store for over a half an hour. I finally left without what I needed and just went to another store. If you know what you want and where to find it, I would recommend this store. If you are wanting some help or guidance, go somewhere else. read more

Took two pieces of artwork in to have them reframed. The ordering process was a bit trying, it seemed like the clerk was new and unsure about how to price out a floating mount, she requested help which made the process longer than necessary. After about two weeks they called to inform me they were ready, so we went to pick them up. My wife ran in to pick them up while I ran an errand. She showed them to me in the car, one piece turned out well, the other was off center, low and to the left. The clerk told her that it added character (what she meant to say was that they measured wrong and didn't want to fix it). I took it back in to discuss this issue and was told (by the guy who put it together) that they put it off center because the mat was cut too big and some pin holes in the corner of the piece would show if it was centered. This is exactly the potential issue that i pointed out to them when they were measuring. He told me I was in luck as they had that mat color in stock and he could recut the mat and have it ready in a half hour. I returned in a half hour and he told me they got slammed at the desk and it would be done in a couple minutes, and would call me when done. We left and wandered around the reserve street area for another 30 minutes, no call. Stopped back by the store and was told that it was not done and that they were not able to get to it, we left. Got a call about 20 minutes later informing me that the mat color was not in stock and was offered a slightly darker color, not wanting a surprise I asked to have it matted in the original color we selected, it will take a least another a week. I understand mistakes will happen, what I don't appreciate is over promising, under delivering. Not sure I will use them again. read more
