Ulymar is exteremly unprofessional. I emailed asking a simple question in regards to how the…read morecrystal are mined and making sure they are safe (as safe as they can be) He than accuses me of also destroying the earth with my cell phone and other things... AND compares crystals to Natural disasters. Emails from him are copied below. STAY AWAY ! go with a trusted company... Email exchange #1: Dear Mandy, This is a "million dollar" question. We know you may be concerned about ethically sourced or mined products. Unfortunately we can't say much in this regards because we buy gemstones from all over the world and many times we don't even know how exactly they were mined. If you anyone tells you differently, it's only a guess or misleading. One thing we can say for sure is that for the most part our goodies are produced and purchased in a manner that demonstrates respect for the people who produce them. We support small mines and this is crucial for stimulating their local economy. Because we deal with relatively low grade gemstones, there is not much corporate commercial pressure over and most of the mining is made by freelance miners, which in Brazil, for example, is called "garimpeiro", kind of sole or freelance miner/prospector. Email exchange #2: Hi Mandy, Yes, of course I can help you understand as far as to my knowledge. First of all you have to have in mind that this is nothing to worry about in comparison to the real earth destroying attacks we have nowadays in different fields. As I told you in previous email, the business we are in is a very, very much little scale mining (see attached a illustrative picture). This is not to say miner would make a dig and wouldn't repose the original state. Of course this may happens and does happen, but in a very small scale as said above and compared for example with the mining of iron ore, oil and other ore with global disasters that media barely talks about (see also attached pictures for comparison). See here, for example of what happened in Brazil twice: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sKZUZQytads (worst natural disaster in earth history).... and doesn't need to mention about the gulf disaster: https://www.washingtonpost.com/national/health-science/a-14-year-long-oil-spill-in-the-gulf-of-mexico-verges-on-becoming-one-of-the-worst-in-us-history/2018/10/20/f9a66fd0-9045-11e8-bcd5-9d911c784c38_story.html?noredirect=on&utm_term=.05f53a820f35 ... Other fields like agricultural where lands as big as some european countries are taken over for the producing of soy, corn and other commodities where all the wildlife is killed, snakes, small, medium and large wild life animals, fishes and entire rivers are dried up, etc. Again, with the mining and producing of crystals and mineral specimens is nothing to worry about. We are not talking about diamond, gem grade precious stones such as emerald, ruby and sapphire. In fact, most of what we deal with are actually sub-products of many other mining, like hunter/gatherer/collectors to say the least. And the final email where he times me I am ruining the earth. Dear Mandy, Unfortunately you didn't understand the core of the matter I wanted to show, which very few people in the world would have such comprehension. You are lucky to have come my way to have a clarifying description on how corporate mining and agriculture monocrop destroy the earth, not crystal mining with tiny wholes made by humble community people we are proud to support. Unfortunately again you didn't understand the matter, but please, go ahead and share it the surely many people will understand. Ultimately, you are and we all are responsible for the earth destruction from the houses we live in, the clothes we put on, the electronics we work and play with. Everything is made of mining resources, think of it... Not barely cheap crystals! Unless you prefer to hear lies from other suppliers, not me. Be well,
