I'm giving this place one star because it did just about nothing for me but waste my time. I could have bought this yarn elsewhere and saved myself the drive. I even signed up for a knitting felting class that was later canceled. The owner called to let me know the class was cancelled, but I never heard the message. That's okay, I thought, maybe she could give me ANY lesson instead. Nope. She was not impressed that I drove over an hour a second time to come to her store. Whatever she was doing (knitting) was more important than building customer rapport. The person there, who I'm assuming was the owner, was not really outgoing or friendly either, just ordinary. This place was a big disappointment. It has the potential to be an amazing little jewel, but it's just not. The knitting needle display was also a mess. Oh, and her large dog is confined to a tiny space behind her register. That's just plain cruel. Talk to your dog, and take your dog on a long walk!

The initial vibe always makes me think their target audience is older and more conservative, but on closer inspection there's plenty of nods to younger customers and liberal viewpoints - the AnthroCon yarn sampler was my favorite example, and there's plenty of rainbows and nerdy stuff on display.
