To allow them to pay for them. So I asked her how long a customer can do a hold for And She told me 24 hours. So I asked her if I paid cash right now for it I could not buy it and she told me no. I have never heard of a resale shop allowing employees to have the first pick or holding items longer for employees than they do for customers.

The store manager is wonderful! They offer a variety of fashion accessories like earrings, necklaces, bracelets, and scarfs. They have lots of of clothes for juniors. The selection of plus size is the reason why I shop there. I may be out if the "juniors" section by age, but the clothes they offer are excellent. Most of my clothes come here. My only complaint about the clothes is sometimes the Maurices brand fits a little awkward. BUT I would never stop shopping there!

This is a quirky store that fits in for the area. It is kind of a catch all store, one where you…read morecan find every day needed items and one where you can find odd items that you didn't know you needed. I'm trying to think of a place to compare it to in the area but cannot. I was bored one day and pulled up a map and looked for places I have never been before. That just happened to show me Ken's. I actually never heard of it until I saw the map. Ken's sits in a position that overlooks Route 219 and is about a mile or two from the exit. Not much else up herein terms of shopping beside the thrift store. Parking lot is a bit tricky as it is gravel and not marked in anyway. Once inside you are greeted by several different rooms that are filled with stuff. It definitely covers all departments that you would find at a store. Not as large as you would find in a typical store, but definitely covers a fair share. Like many stores like this, some of the items on the shelf could be questionable. Read that as some packages are damaged, maybe some are near their sell by date. One last thing, go by their Facebook page not their webpage.

It is clean, I'm not saying that most thrift stores are not clean, but the way that this is set up it gives off a pristine appearance. Now, just to make things clear, yes, they are a thrift store. However they only deal with home furnishings and home decor. If you are just looking for a bargain, this may not be your place to go. The way it is set up you actually feel like you are in a run of the mill furniture store. It is rather large inside and you might find something you didn't expect in here. Merchandise changes frequently, so coming back may be a different experience. Customer service is top notch here and basically cuts out the guess work. I had a question on whether they had an item or not and with the answer I got it saved me from browsing and become frustrated. Hours are a bit odd, so make sure you call ahead to see if they are open or look them up online.

The Johnstown location is the closest to me and I really wish they would move into Westmoreland County so I did have to drive so far. The service, like anywhere, is affected by low staffing. There are centralized sales desks to check out, but most only have one employee staffing it. Still, they are apologetic for your wait time and are very courteous and efficient. As far as selection, there is so much to look at, I almost always come home spending more than I planned. The shoe department is especially good. So is the handbag department. Actually every department I have shopped has had a good assortment and I can find things I want. They also have a Clearance center with REALLY low prices on the second floor.

We had a great customer service experience at the beginning, but the delivery process has been…read moreincredibly frustrating. We were originally told our couch pieces would arrive in 4-6 weeks. After 6 weeks passed with no update, we waited another 6 weeks. At that point, we received a phone call apologizing for the "bad news" and were told it would be another 4 weeks. Concerned, I stopped by the store and spoke with a different sales associate. I asked if the 4-week timeline could be guaranteed, and she told me it could not -- in fact, she said it would likely be longer than that. This directly contradicted what we had just been told over the phone. At this point, we are nearly four months in with no clear or reliable delivery timeline. The lack of transparency and inconsistent communication has been extremely disappointing. I would strongly caution others about purchasing furniture from this store if it requires warehouse delivery, as the estimated timelines do not appear to be accurate or dependable.

This is a cute little thrift center that is kind of hidden if you don't live in the area. Quite…read morefrankly, even if you live in the area. I mean I had no idea about it. Why that may be is because it does not look like a business. It sits on a road that looks like a driveway to houses, and the building itself looks like it might be a garage. Once in the parking lot you realize that it is indeed a business and that they are open for business. Like most thrift stores there is an area outside for donations, like a drop box, but this one directly goes inside the building. Simple setup on the inside. The place looks rather small, but I will explain that later. The floor where all the items for purchase are located feels cramped, and a bit unorganized. The aisles are rather small and definitely can become congested. Going to put this out there guys, there is not much clothing items here for you. There is a larger ladies section and children section. But don't let that dissuade you from coming here. On top of the clothing you will find household items, toys, games, and small appliances. The list could go on. Now, back to the point where it feels cramped. The building is rather large so you would think that would equate to a bigger inside, well it is a bigger inside because it shares a space. It shares the space with a food pantry that serves the area. What you buy in the store portion helps fund the food pantry and other services they offer. Great place as it also provides cash assistance which can help cover rent, mortgage, or utility bills.
