I used to love shopping at Micheal's almost everything about was fun from helpful staff to quirky items. however the last time I was in there will probably be the last. understanding that things are always changing that way that life works, one thing that shouldn't change is quality of service. I stopped by to pick up a water proofer for my bird house. The employee I asked for help told me where to go, only challenge was it was locked behind a cage and she knew about and failed to mention how to page the person to unlock it. Then another came employee over unlocked it and handed me what I needed and didn't mention that I wouldn't be able use self check out and trying to would lock up the machine- so when I was prompted to use not one but two self checkout machines fustrated the I had to wait until 1st employee comes and unlock the machine. She then tells the other employee why it happened then goes over and helps someone else. No one offered an explanation directly Just one employee discussing it with either me and the other employee or just the other employee. This could have been prevented by someone just explaining that get water proofer would taking a personal escort and one on one check out. Next time I'm going to Hobby Lobby. read more

I had ordered a Christmas tree online for curbside pickup. The hours for pickup are 9-6 which I didn't see until I was there a little after 6 to pick up the tree. They still brought it out to our car and they still had a smile on their face!! read more

Purchased items, put my bank info in and receipt didn't print. Manager came over and told the new girl she had to do it all again. She assured me and the associate that it wouldn't come out of my account twice. So I checked later and it did come out twice. So the manager didn't know what she was talking about. I called to get it corrected and no apology or anything. And they can only refund in cash so now I have to wait around for 5 days to get my cash even though I'm from out of town. I'll shop elsewhere online for craft needs from now on. read more

This Michaels is very, very, very good. I do a lot of online shopping and they are always helpful and I get my needs met. Some other reviews comment about things that are lacking in this store, like not a lot of fabric, that's because it is a craft store not a fabric store, or the complaint about the register mistake - it is annoying when something like that happens but sometimes things do not go as we would like. Bottom line this store has nice and helpful staff, usually what I need at the time, a coupon for everything and they honor competitors coupons which makes the cost of what I need reasonable. I like this location. It is neatly organized and they run pretty awesome sales at times. It can be a bit expensive if you do not go when they have sales. I stopped in for some fake flowers and was slightly overwhelmed with my options. I am pretty sure half the store is fake flowers. They do lack a fabric section like other craft stores which is a bummer. I will be back if I need painting supplies or more flowers though. read more

A friend suggested to go here as I was looking for some pinned buttons. It's a well designed store as it's easy to tell what kind of crafty item sections they have like decor, frames, painting, jewelry and a kids section. Lots of good stuff to use for craft projects. There's a craft room that you can reserve for parties and groups whether it's for kids or adults. While on my button adventure, I get lost in this little store and couldn't find them. I finally asked one of the employees. He was helpful as he walked me over to the aisle with the buttons. They have a smaller selection of buttons and it was a little higher help, so I'm not surprised I missed it (I'm vertically challenged). I did buy one size that I needed but they didn't have the smaller one inch buttons, but that's okay I still found what I was looking for. This place is now on my list to go to for future craft projects. read more
